Anyone else very frustrated with the headset cable routing? I had a hell of a time getting all to fit (dropper, brake, electronics etc) and it seems to be chewing the hell out of the stuff that is routed in it. Does anyone have a step by step or instructions on the right way to do this? The...

Not really a bash guard though....its very thin plastic.

Anyone have a recommendation on bash guards or protection for the motor shield for log overs etc? Very exposed.

Anyone else having most of the small fasteners rusting? The ones on the rubber pivot flap and the ones that hold the cover on the bottom of the motor. They look really bad and will need replacing.

Moving on to other build topics....god I hate headset cable routing. Such a pain in the butt. Question, do people offset the opening to one side or center it so the cables are front middle? Seems like maybe less fussing if they were all off to one of the sides.

Turns out the new provided display is just Yes confirmed this is what I have. Its so basic looking that I thought it was just the controller. It shows battery level and power level which is actually cleaner than two different units on the bars. Simpler for my intended rider as well!

Is there a reason to add the bigger display?

My motor kit arrived today. Battery coming separately. Question, I did not get a display with the controls....just the level switch and cables etc...no readout. I assume that should be standard?

Same, I ordered from FLT....but they said they would not ship till after Chinese new year due to a battery protection plate being updated. And so it sits without its heart, until I can continue.

Cool! I did find a retro letter C crest (first letter of my name) for the headtube. That will be the extent of the branding....I want people to be confused. You didn't say where your motor came from?
