Fuel EXe Trek Fuel EXe Megathread!

I took mine to a friend's and we stripped the motor out and greased everything while putting it back. I think it was a dry pedal after all of that. Went for a long ride yesterday in Gisburn forest in the UK and not one creak.

Fuel EXe Trek Fuel EXe Megathread!

Thanks for that I think mine is very similar type of noise but mine will not creak unless I pedal very hard. I will get it out again tomorrow and thoroughly go through it to see if I can make it creak like yours.

Fuel EXe Trek Fuel EXe Megathread!

Hi guys I'm getting an annoying squeaky creak from my crank area but only when really putting pressure through the pedals like a steep uphill. The bike has done 50 miles but has been sitting for a few months . Any ideas where to start finding the cause ? Thanks

Well that wasn't a good start. Very first ride on a 10 mile road loop from my house and error 5401 constantly on. Switching on and off does nothing so back it goes to dealer.

The forks and wheels were very heavy. I doubt i will spend much more on it now. It's time to ride it...

To be fair I did get it in a sale so my total spend is still way under the rrp. My girlfriend just keeps her opinions hidden until an appropriate moment lol

Hi guys I've just bought my first ebike, a trek fuel exe 9.5 bottom of the range. I haven't ridden it yet, as literally got it yesterday. I've changed the bars, stem, forks, wheels and tyres so far to get it somewhere close to how I want it. I think brakes might be next but I like Trps so will...
