I have the 410wh Bafang battery and the bike is running fine, It is more of a curiosity to try and see how the battery weight in a more centrally located area might change handling. My wife has commented the e-bike is a little more nose-heavy than her enduro bike for example off drops.
So could I buy this battery and it work? (storage space aside) Or would it need specific BMS or other things? I'm new to understanding all this.

Hi there, I have a battery question, I have the 43v Bafang m820 and the 410 wh battery. what batteries could I run on this system if I wanted something custom? Will a 52v work? I heard there are 36, 43 and 48 versions of the m820 motor, is that just firmware or are the different units? I have...
Wow that was not a great review! Seems like they needed a larger size. My experience with the bafang is quite the opposite to what they reported, i find I have to spin higher rpm's to get the most out of it, but also I haven't made any changes or plugged in the besst tool yet. How do others...
I thought i'd post an update. I'm about 15 rides into my bike and I recently built up my wife's, Same build with the fork and shock being different. Her medium is coming in at 44.5lb and my large is 46.5 (I have marazochi z1 coils that are heavy!! 2.7kg almost! I also have the Kitsuma coil shock...
I got the motor from [email protected], that came with the cables 410wh battery cranks and handlebar controller also. It’s the 43 watt motor. I believe those came out to around $1150 each for the motor battery kit. I think again I got a slightly better price as I purchased two. I did have the...
Thanks! I wanted to try the brake line outside first, it will make brake bleeds and servicing easier, I find with the cables I usually have to only replace inner cable from time to time so hopefully the internal cables I won't have to play with too much. The name on the downtube is a combo of...
Hi there, the price and timeline varies a little with custom paint and if you want things like, I think the frame was around $950 ( I bought two so maybe there was a small discount) and the paint was around $200 and that included shipping, the Motor was from another vendor. The best is to Reach...
Good to know about the run, I think I’ll insulate my cables that run inside. For the rear brake I’m going to try to run the rear brake on the outside, I bought some adhesive cable guides from Amazon. I’m not sure how it will perform but I’ll give them a try.
Finally getting around to building my LCE930. I ordered the frames with custom paint from JimLee which came out really nice, matte finish. I’m running it as a mullet set up, marazochi z1 coil forks and Kitsuma coil shock. I need to build the front wheel and I’m waiting on another saddle so...
I'd be cautious to drill any holes as it could structurally effect your frame especially in that headtube junction area. I work with composites a little and I would imagine there is not the necessary excess in material or strength to be able to start cutting holes without consequences. I did...
I believe that extra one is for the Beest tool ( to update software and tune the motor) I'm not sure where it's supposed to sit though, where does everyone else have it located? I'm waiting on this cable then I'll start my build.
I just received these photos from the other company, I think the same as yours @kaylee.s ( I bought the cables separately as they said they had stock) I just wanted to double check these are the correct ones, there are two cables in the picture. Thanks!
Fingers crossed they checked and we are getting the correct ones. The company I purchased my units from unfortunately don't seem to have stock and a back up won't hurt to have when it does come. I figured this should be 15 days ish vs 40 days, so if I'm able to get out 3 weeks or so sooner I'll...
I spoke to Anna Shen from Fieldebikes Co., Ltd. and they do have stock of the main cable for the M820, it was $18 for the cable and $20 shipping and some tax on top. I asked her if she could confirm a picture and she sent this one. I asked if she had additional stock and they do, so if anyone is...
who did you get your through? could you pass on the contact? I imagine they are complete kits and not just pieced together, but its worth an email i guess :)
@Utility and @brbr
Did you both end up receiving the correct main cable? It sounds like our solution is 5 weeks out, if you have any contact details on your vendors it would be great to know. @kaylee.s and I currently have all the parts except this seemingly vital cable. Thanks! I don't know if...
It seems that at least a few people have the correct cables, maybe they can share the vendor that they used, but it seems as the system is new there isn't a surplus of these spare parts right now. I'm not sure if it's possible to purchase other Bafang cables and splice to make our own version...
Hi Kaylee,
I spoke to my supplier and they also have been in contact with Jim I believe. They had a reply from Bafang and it seems they have to order or make a custom order. They said it would take 15 days to get to them but the factories are currently all closed as there is an 8-day national...
