My bike fell off my tow bar rack

My Thule system has lights and a blank plastic number plate. Thule also sell number Stickers you could use on that plate, but I just wrote my car number with a waterproof thick one brush. Have not been stopped yet and it’s 4+ years. I am sure I have had cops right behind me during those years.

Do's and Don'ts for e-bike battery care. What do you do to keep your battery performing at its best?

Same advice they tell us about mobile phones. But 99% of all ppl charge their phones on their nightstand when they sleep. As do I. I also leave the charging plugged in at all times so that it’s ready when I want to use the bike again. This is mostly for my e-bike commuter, since it’s used most...

Do's and Don'ts for e-bike battery care. What do you do to keep your battery performing at its best?

I have currently two e-bikes. One is a trek trail 5 (e-mtb) and the other one an old HT powefly. The powerful is strictly used for work commuting and other close to home bike trips to the store of other activities. The powefly I don’t do anything to preserve battery conditions. I use it year...

My bike fell off my tow bar rack

I also have that Thule easy fold. Although it was bought at least 4 years ago so probably not the newest model. I was concerned when I read this thread that it had failed to hold the bike. I have used my Thule platform for my e-mtb’s ever since I bought it and I have never had any issues...

For my 2021 rail 5 i have these mods: Bontrager Carbon rims. The least expensive of them. Maxxis assegai front 2.5 and DHR2 2.4 rear My good old fatbar handle bars. I think they are 780 wide and with a 30 or 35 mm rise. Bontrager pro mtb grips. Mainly because they look good with the blueish...

Rail (625Wh) Mino Link vs longer stroke shock?

I changed the link from low to high last year. The reason was firstly to get the bike to turn slightly better and secondly to reduce the shotloads of pedal strikes I got. The pedal strikes are almost totally gone and the turning has gotten way better. And it also seems to climb slightly...

    Rail (625Wh) Tubeless??

The lbs converted my front to tubeless when I had them insert Carbon bontrager rims to replace the awfull rims that comes stock with the rail 5 2021 model. My tires are maxxis Agassi (or whatever you spell it) up front. They do leak more air than what it used to with tubes, but I don’t mind...

Trek Rail 5 - creaking noises

I have had two kinds of creaking noise in my trail 5 2021. The first was almost present from the get go when I bought the bike a few years ago. Damn I think this is my third summer with it:) Anyways. I found that the noise came from the battery cover. I think it was between the cover and the...
