Read the consumer rights act carefully. You’ll find they’ve already gone beyond it with their offer which they didn’t need to do. You have to prove the defect was present at time of manufacture, which given batteries are consumable and the charger worked for years is going to be very hard.

I had to clean out excess grease from my factory fresh Zebs because a tiny bleed port was blocked by grease. Same symptoms as yours.
Basically a lower leg service but I didn’t replace anything.
Was good fun even in the rain, in fact the wet made some of the trails more interesting. Thanks for taking me around the off piste Steve. Some parts are pretty overgrown and hard to see!
Hopefully drier weather next time.
That has to be one of the blingest e-Mythiques around!
I flat spotted the Neutrons that came with my e-Sommet within a couple months. Managed to get a set of Horizon V2s when they were on sale which have held up really well. The high engagement hub is nice too. Hard to find them now but I've...
Congrats!
If you download the E-TUBE app you should see more details about the error. A lot of these errors are intermittent and might come back to bite.
Bike came with 165 but thought I’d give 150 a go as I was getting so many pedal strikes and efficiency wasn’t a priority.
Immediate huge decrease in pedal strikes. Both going fast downhill (scary time to pedal strike) and when pedalling over obstacles.
I’ve got shorter legs for my height so...
Are you getting the range/elevation you’d expect from that battery? Mine has also died very quickly from going into the last bar, but on other rides it’s also lasted quite a long time too. The temperature will also have a huge impact to battery life and I doubt Shimano compensates for that.
So...
Thanks all for your advice.
I tried the various tips like taking some air out the fork and pulling it up and down, and they helped but didn't fully fix it.
I ended up doing a lower leg service which solved the problem - basically did the same as that GMBN video Rod posted. There was a huge...
I have a 2021 Zeb Select that came with my Vitus E-Sommet VRS that I just can't get setup right, it's always harsh even with too little or too much pressure, and I'm now wondering if I have a faulty fork.
The main issue seems to be a relatively strong force sucking it into it's travel. This...
Glad you got the crank back on Dave! First time I’ve seen a crank fall off on a ride!
Thanks for organising this @steve_sordy, I enjoyed exploring the off piste areas and was really good to meet everyone on the ride.
Hi Steve
I only just joined this forum and this sounds like a great idea I’d love to join. I’ve never been off piste around Sherwood despite being my local trails.
