It originally had the remote type and the spring and ball bearing came with the conversion it. It believe its so I can click to positions. I've currently fitted without but it feels very loose

Hi all, I've gone down a big drop this evening and heard my shock bottom out. Now I have some fluid leaking on one side - Its not quite dripping off the shocker or but much more than the opposite side. I presume I've blown one of the oil seals? Are there seals at the top and bottom? Not sure...
