Ivoted, but none of the answers really fit my strategy:
My strategy is to keep the battery between 55-75% charge when not in use.
So when I return from a ride, if I plan on riding the next day- I charge fully. If not charge up to about 70% . Untill the day before my next ride, then charge fully...
Short explanation here if Tom doesn't mind!?
He's referring to the "shuttles"... Quite a flurishing business has developed at the Dead Sea, near Jericho, where most of the trails end, namely the know "sugar trail", several restaurants have opened there to serve the mtb'ers and mx'ers that ride...
Not to hijack the thread or anything...
But yes! There is quite a large MTB scene in Israel, it's a popular hobby here, mostly "weekend warriors" but many that ride several times a week too. It's a great way to unwind in a verry stressful country😃
There are dozens of well planed and we'll marked...
If no one has posted this already:
Here's another good thread on the subject:

Now my ten cents worth:
I don't get along with goggles, on the bike... Atv, or motorbiking their fine..
So it's big glasses with good...
I'm sorry to say, after trying time and again... The minion 2.8s are crap! Their sidewalls are way! Too weak! Even cushcore couldn't save them from snakebites! When running low pressures that are totally needed in the dry powdery rocky terrain here.. for grip.
A DD or downhill casing would be...

Update: found a solution to the annoying tendency of the yellow mips plastic edge, cutting into your forehead, due to the padding strip or the velcro that holds it, sliding up.. also the single contact point on the forehead was giving me headaches!
Did away with the stupid little sticky velcro...
Haven't tried the michelin's, but may give them a go! They sound just about right, untill Maxxis realize their sidewalls suck! And come out with a 2.8 downhill casing... Finally.
I love minions! They have been my favorite tire for 15 years or more.. so after wearing out my stock butcher on...
Hi Al, I really respect your comments and experience, so I would like to ask :
For my 2018 Kenevo, would this DT hybrid hub be your hub of choice?? Or maybe a Hope? If so what model..
Thanks for your advice!?
Tim
Yes.. this is verry common... Search the forum, it's been writen about many times.
Happened to me so many times that I felt the wheel loose on a run and had to stop and tighten it, that now I'm totally religious about checking it before every ride!
It has to be ridiculously tight! To not loosen...
Wow!.. what a bummer!
I've had good luck with my 155 Miranda's so far....??? had many bad pedal strikes.. but so far so good.
Does hope make 155's now? They only had 170's when they first came out.. if so it's a good ( but expensive! 170€!) Option..
BTW, Did you check your motor shaft? A good...
Same here, cushcore solves the "sideroll" problem and offer's more puncture/tear protection.
And yes the 2.8s can climb anything steep! It's crazzy how well they stick!
