    Tannus tyre inserts

They can be tricky to out in, but if you use a smaller volume inner tube you should be fine!!

I noticed on my last ride that I could hear a freehub while coasting, I wasn't initially concerned as I'd just had a new hub fitted on the rebuilt back wheel. I've noticed today that while pushing the bike, or at any time while not coasting with the feet on the pedals they rotate. This is...

    Owchh that hurt

    Owchh that hurt

I wear the full face on all trails now on the pretence that it's where I mount the gopro. Makes me look like I know what I'm doing .......

Answered Full face helmet for an older fella!

Another vote for the Bell, I take the chin bar off for leisurely rides and back on for anything challenging. Dies both jobs very well.

    An E-160s v1 - should i do it!?

I bought the 2019 e150s before they landed on the strength of Guy Kestevans review and wasn't disappointed. I don't think you'll be unhappy with whatever you get, so my advice would be see what is available and provided it is really not what you want, eg 180 too much bike? , go for it.

Cush Core - would you recommened?

I use Tannus and have had a trouble free 500 miles. Much cheaper than cushcore too

Flats, punctures and Tears Oh My!

Another thumbs up for Tannus. Very easy to install and has handled everything thrown at them. I think they weighed 300g each but you don't need to worry with a motor! I still carry a spare tube but that's just me being over cautious.

What did you buy your ebike this week?

Got a pair of Tannus Armour tyre inserts. Cant be bothered with messing around with tubeless and the weight isnt exactly going to be an issue, is it!!!!

    Whyte e150s

Not been a problem so far, I might have to work on my bunny hops to avoid grinding them on rocks and roots. I think you would have to be really unlucky to snag a branch on the cables. Because they are flexible it's a reasonable option as opposed to having them fixed. I'm sure if there are many...

    Whyte e150s

First ride out today and loved it. Much more of a bike than I am a rider but I am hoping to catch up. Climbs well, very stable, was able to point and go at the drop offs and descents. 20 miles round Hamsterley 2700 feet of climbing and only just dropped down to 2 bars, so should be able to do 35...

    EMTB and Caravan

Fair enough, I will have a chat with the owners. Still swaying towards the pickup because if 4wd as long as it's easy enough to get the bikes in board.

    EMTB and Caravan

I had thought of this but the main campsite I use doesn't allow commercial vehicles. I have checked a pickup is OK but might not get away with a van.

    EMTB and Caravan

I'm looking to splash some cash next year on a caravan and EMTB. I quite like the idea of getting a pickup to do the towing and humping the bike(s) as opposed to a big SUV (I'm fed up with having to drop the seats and there will be a dog involved too) but just want some reassurance I'll be able...
