Honda Canada has a price difference of $350 between the 1000 and the 2200, I would go for the 2200. The 2200 would probably run on auto throttle while charging the Rockies, much quieter if that’s a concern.
Rocky chargers require an input of 4 amps @120 VAC. 120 x4 = 480 watts. Two chargers will double that so you are at 960 watts. I have the Honda 2000 watt and use it for RV ing and household power outages. That’s my recommendation. I think the 1000 would be marginal. What is the price difference...
I think you should consider a better complete brake system. Bigger rotors and harder compound pads. What brand and model of braking system do you have?
I guess only Mister Shimano would know the answer. It’s like a lot of electrical problems that you trouble shoot with a DMM and they don’t go away until you replace the component with a known good one.
All circuits that conduct an electrical pulse should have some path of resistance that shows up on a DMM. Replaced the sensor with a new one and now it works.
I ordered the overtime pack and Rocky Mountain in Quebec couldn’t find a company that would deliver it to my address in British Columbia. Batteries are considered hazardous materials when it comes to shipping.
If you switch to a 40 tooth make sure it’s dished the same as your 46 tooth. If not the chainline will be excessive when peddling in the biggest cog on the rear cassette. I have a Bafang setup with the 42 Lekkie and recently bought a 38 Gustavo chainring and it doesn’t have enough dish. The...
In my area we have a group of five old guys that ride together every week. Two are newish(2023) Specialzed, one 2023 Devinci (Shimano ep8) and two Rocky Powerplays (Dyname). I can tell which buddy is behind me on the climbs by the sound of their motors.
I upgraded my Rocky Powerplay from Deore 11 speed to Linkglide 11 speed. Big difference, especially shifting under load. I had to replace the cassette, derailleur and shifter. The standard shimano 11 speed chain works fine, also used existing raceface crank chainring. It looks like your sram pg...
