    Same questions, different day.....

His is a large so probably too big. At least with an e bike you can see how many km the motor has done, but they are pretty thin on the ground at the moment.

Hi Uncle, whereabouts in NZ are you? Any of those 3 are will be great, I'm on a Merida E-120 and it's great for what I need and wouldn't hesitate to recommend a Merida.

    Merida Eone sixty 900e sizing

Hi Carlos, I have a medium E120 800 and am the same height as you. according to these to geometries there is only a 5mm difference in reach. I don't think it would be too big for you as you can move the seat around and play with different stem lengths...

    EoneTwenty 900E, first impressions.

Cheers, the fork is a 29er and had plenty of room with the 2.8 so it should fit a 29er alright. I am definitely no big hitter!

    EoneTwenty 900E, first impressions.

Hi guys, I have been offered some wheels off a new e140 (basic Merida TR 30mm id) and am wondering if it is worth replacing my current set - again basic Merida TR but a 40mm rim. I have changed the 2.8 tyres for 2.5 so thinking the new rims might suit the tyres better? Also going to a 29er up...

So, you own an older model 160/120E, are you feeling compelled to change?

I've been checking out the new batteries and seeing what would fit my current e120 800(e) but can't see me upgrading until I have seen an EP8 and 625wh internal battery E140. Even after all that i'm still not sure if I need a bigger battery or whether the EP8 is going to make a difference for...

    General chat re new bike

Like Gary said, pick the bike that best suits the trails you're likely to ride. Should be able to test ride all those bikes or at least get a feel for each one. Going off one of the other threads we might see the new motor and hopefully a bigger battery early 2021. I'm still running an external...

    General chat re new bike

I've been pretty happy with my E120, no issue with the E8000 at all. I think the new EP8 will have the same bolt pattern so you could change it if you wanted. What I like about it is you can tailer eco, trail and boost depending on your preference and for the most part trail is heaps. I would...

Article Limited Edition Merida e-ONE SIXTY

Looks pretty good Rob and I agree the all black one doesn't look that great. The red on the 140 Ltd Ed I think is even better than the green. Might have to wait for the EP8 and bigger battery though.

    Merida eone sixty 500SE 2020 - Thoughts?

Having an external battery I would take a look at last years bikes and see what sort of deals there are, the two below are probably better specced: Merida eOne Sixty 800 E-Mountain Bike Silk Titan Black (2019) and if you can squeeze a little more: Merida eOne Sixty 900 E-Mountain Bike Red/Black...
