I got a fat tire bike since purchasing the e-bike for various reasons. The fat tire bike is better for: a hard workout, riding with friends on analogs, riding where e-bikes are prohibited, riding on days when the ground is very soft and the fat tire is actually easier and causes less damage -...
I ride more dirt bikes but for what it's worth, I find great value in the gloves offered in big box home improvement stores. Great selection, half the price and they last just as long - not too long. I buy a few sets at a time. Hey, at least you can try them on in person.
I'd narrow down the field by finding out what your local bike shops will support. As said, it's hard to go wrong with any of the major ones.
Have you ridden one before? I'll quote a post I read here recently by saying "the hills seem to flatten". Normal grade hills become a LOT easier on a...
Congratulations. I predict that after your first real ride, you and the Mrs will both have BIG smiles on your faces and know you made a good lifestyle choice. I found it to be a LOT more fun than I expected.
UPDATE - I took the bike in for them to take a look at it. The fork noise was coming from a poorly set rebound valve. The tech made a simple adjustment to it and the noise disappeared. Apparently it was totally closed. He also took the time to adjust my fork, shock and tire pressures...
I've always dreamed about what kind of motorcycle I would build if I had the room for that type of project. Now, getting into the Ebikes more, I could definitely see myself making a cruiser Ebike powerful enough to get registered for the street.
This whole argument about whether Ebikes should be on the same trails sounds EXACTLY like the skiing community when snowboarding became popular.
There clearly needs to be some line where an Ebike transitions into a motorcycle, but as longs as it's a 750w or less, it's a bicycle. Simple as that.
Thanks. I will get those brakes heated up tomorrow for sure. What's the water for? I was just going to go down a hill and use one brake at a time to stop. I'm sure they'll be a lot better after they go through a couple heat cycles each.
As far as the suspension goes, I haven't had a...
So this is my first bike purchase since about 1995 when I got a Trek 930. I lined up the back tires and the Ebike is a good foot longer. Wow, is this thing a beast, and that's a great thing.
I know this bike is really expensive, obviously, but there's a very local dealer to me and I'm hoping...

I only have a couple miles on it from my first ride so far, and I have some mixed reviews of the bike...
