I guess, yes, it must have some sort of esim/sim for it to connect to Bosch and for the gps to always track the bike’s location.

I really wish I knew! I have not found any information on what the difference between 4.*** and 5.*** there was a link on the flow app but I didn’t click on it as I did not want anything to cause problems with the update!

That’s probably why mine did update last Tuesday. I had just fitted the connect module and my bike is a 2023 model that does support over the air updates.

The App version was in the flow app /settings and then at the bottom of the page
