I just listened to a podcast with troyden from crestline talking about their recent Bosch motor deployment and the possibility of a firmware update coming to release triple figures on the new cx motor. From my understanding, Bosch has strengthened the motor unit and battery configuration to...
Not good. I have gone through 2 of these saddles within 12months, the weakest part of the saddle is where the rail enters the plastic base (exactly where your having issues now) so yes a replacement is needed. I paid $230aud for mine so not a cheap experience.
Well fox Aus issued me a dhx after my float x had the same issues. I can only run the bike mx with the flip chip on high to use this.
So after some investigation, I ended up buying an ohlins ttxm2 coil which works on high/low (much better than the dhx for rebound fyi).
Haven’t tried a rockshox...
Been running 145 for about 8months now ( first production batch for Bosch motor) no regrets. I find anything bigger hard to ride. I’m 6.1ft or 183cm and changed my dropper and bar to accomodate the length.
Been riding pinnd 145mm since they launched. I now can’t ride anything larger you get used to being able to pedal over rocks etc with this size. Love them.
Great info here learnt a lot. I replace my pads and rotors together twice a year. I’m a heavy rider on a heavy bike riding 3 times more than on a mtb. I believe brakes are the most important aspect on an emtb so no second guessing this component.
I went through two suspension tuners here and both agreed the shock would be too linear with the larger shaft and air can ie coil like. I agree the shock looks good but my factory x2 was too linear and not progressive enough for my needs.
This bike came with a performance x2 (comp/rebound) in scott tune.
It started leaking air then the dreaded x2 squelch came.
Fox Australia replaced for a 2024 factory x2.
This lasted 9 days with oil leaking on the reservoir.
Replaced last week with another 2024 factory x2.
I’m running 298psi and...
