It happened to me a couple more times. In all cases, the terrain was very uneven, I was on a fast climb after a descent, and the connection resumed soon after, so I'm reasonably certain that it is, as you say, a connector not working perfectly.
I will try to verify what you say but, what does...
I think this app is generally crap and Bosch doesn't care about it because it has been overtaken by Flow and other apps.
IMHO they should release the API publicly and let private programmers do the job of handling the bike data. Imagine if Strava could show you the cadence and the power used by...
I mean that the tour is not transferred anymore to the phone, and so, not saved by the app, despite the Kiox is telling me that it is "syncrhonizing". And the miles are increasing in the Kiox display.
Actually, when adjusted for inflation, the cost of gasoline in the US (and in most of the world) hasn't changed very much in the last five decades...except the miles per gallon increased by a huge factor, allowing a large saving:
data may slightly differ form source to source, but this is it...
Many? I'll settle for one...
And to insinuate that IPCC scientists are "sponsored"? Old trick.
You are clearly not aware of how it works. I'll move on but it's sad.
Sorry for being off topic, but I know something first person about this and would like to politely respond to this post to avoid further spreading of false information.
First, please mention who and where: I mean the original papers, not some "report" and not a generic "mathematicians and...
Since some time, the eBike Connect app of my Trek only records some of the routes I take, even if I start it before I start. On the entry screen it says that if my phone and my ebike's Kiox are connected "my eBike will be tracked automatically," but this does not seem to happen most of the time...
I totally agree with this.
When I bought mine I defined my requirements, saw what was available here, contacted a couple of stores, negotiated a bit (but not even that much) and paid what there was to pay. After that I thought no more about it.

The economics of an EMTB are complex.
I am sure many of you have run a marathon or ultra in the past and know that running shoes typically last about 600 km and 6 months. For someone who trains seriously, this means at least 300 €/year. This is still little money compared to the depreciation...
@mmcengineer, did you read my previous message in its entirety? I wrote very similar things, but with a slightly different ending.
And do not forget that EVs in a densely populated area like a European city, improve the air quality a lot and reduce noise pollution.
So I do not find anything...
I have a similar approach (see message #24 in this thread), because I've never been very good at selling/buying/geotizing, so I agree with you: buy wise, buy little, use as much as you can.
The only thing, with all due respect, I don't really understand what's so funny is about converting to an...
The problem is how to identify which one is used for the tires I purchased. I looked at Bike Technology but I couldn't find a clear mark on my tires that would tell me which one of the three.
Maybe I missed something... I don't know.
I was referring to the question quoted above. Actually, are both EXO, but I didn't really understand if this say everything about the mateiral used for the tyres.
I considered that, thanks, but it would cost, also because we are out of the EU common market area with lower VAT, and there are additional customs to be pay when you reenter something.
A real alternative is to ship the bike and buy a new battery there eventually. Or put it on my car and take a...
fantastic short summary, thanks!
I repeat a question that was buried deeply in my previous comment: I couldn't really understand what the mix of my new Maxxis tires is. I couldn't really understand the information here: Bike Technology and also couldn't find where the mix is stated on the...
I really hope it will last longer... but I may need to sell it if I relocate somewhere else in the future. It's not easy to take an ebike out of a remote island, that is another major issue for the minority of people living there.
I agree, usually I wait for previous year sale. Consider that here - a little island on the Atlantic - there are not very many shops, so, competition, and products, are scarse, and I do not like to buy over the internet because then warranties and maintenance could be a nightmare. On the other...
