    There are no detailed maps of some of the areas I ride. They are not developed trails. unsupported GPS is necessary for me so as not to get lost. Idaho is great for MTB riding, GPS is reliable since cell phone transmitters lack in coverage

    CS-LG600 is 11 speed. So the difference is 10 vs 11 speed and weight of course since the is LG is the XT version. 😁

    I will wait for the cs-lg 600 XT linkglide to be available, most likely April 2023 in the USA. No plans at all for me to use nothing but the linkglide series. Nothing else will work with it with the chain being the exception. This information is from Shimano website. I have the shifter and RD😬

    Yeah.... That's my problem too. None of the numerous online shops I trust do not have the XT linkglide cassette. I will be patient. I have the shifter and rear derailleur.

    That makes sense. Does trailforks work for any location? For example So easy to get lost in the Owhyhee area here in Idaho. People been lost for days out there.... Even died out there. No signage... All roads look similar so I use waypoints on my Garmin to get back

    How are you guys navigating with a cellphone that has supported GPS when there is no cellphone service in some areas? Big problem for me here in Idaho. Garmin basic device works for me. Garmin unit requires no cell phone service.,... Right? Garmin is an unsupported device, am I making sense?

    Local maps a compass and a $200.00 Etrek 22x GPS device. I have no trust in supported/smartphone GPS.

    I prefer shimano clipless pedals for nearly all types of riding. So accustomed to them after 22 years😁 as mentioned earlier the majority of pro riders use them... For good reason? In the end it is personal preference.

    My wife rides a 2018 Giant Dirt E +0 hardtail ebike. The bike has 1000 miles on it and on it's third drivetrain. Love my wife.....
