Has anyone experienced a slight knocking sound from their motor housing? It’s only a slight noise but have no idea what it is. I have taken off the engine cover to clean it out and there doesn’t seem to be anything caught up in there.
Any thoughts welcome.
Thanks
Well I rode the bike at FoD yesterday and I can say the bottoming out issue using an air shock has been resolved. Over jumps the bike is a lot more supple and of course, doesn’t bottom out. I will be taking the bike to windmill bike park soon as that’s my local spot really and that will be the...
Hi Peter, I haven’t had a chance to ride the bike since I got it fitted actually. Been away for work a lot and family things on. Hopefully be out this weekend so will report back on how it rides after that.
I upgraded my pike on a TL expert to 160mm using an air spring upgrade kit. Cost £39 so a bargain to get that extra 10mm. Makes a different though.
Having said that, I do ride a lot of bike parks and do fairly big jumps so am thinking of getting a lyrik 170mm. I have an Ohlins TTX shock on...
I have a TL expert 2019 with the 700wh battery and I rode BPW a couple of weeks ago, climbing back up to the top each time. I rode 49.7km with 1670m of climbing. I weight about 77kg all loaded up with bag etc.
It really depends on the amount of vertical you do.
Interesting that you have put a 180mm fork on the bike. I didn’t think it could take anything above 160mm? Would love to turn mine into a full on enduro bike with a longer fork.
I used that calculator and still had to put in more pressure than it said, then I am jumping a lot on my bike. Forgot to say, today my rockguardz came off on the trail somewhere. Not happy at all considering it cost £65. Lost forever! I won’t be replacing it.
I spoke I to TF tuned yesterday and have ordered an Öhlins TTX M22 series 14 metric for my 19 Levo. It’s the right size so should fit perfectly. I will ask them about ny sort of issues with stroke/shaft worries when it comes in. I have been disappointed with the stock air shock. Can’t believe...
Nice, btw, what bike stand is that you are using? My current Topeak stand can’t really handle the weight of the ebike so it slips out of the grip easily.
I have actually changes my mudguard set up now as I found a better fitting solution. I now have a mud-hugger SRX on both the front and rear in Sam Hill style. Even on the rear it works really well and is a much better looking fit in my view. A little tight on the rear for clearance but it fits...
Thanks, I meant on Markus’s red TL that he’s upgraded with a new fox shock. I can see that he’s changed it but can’t see to what shock from the photos. I have an Expert model myself and even with three tokens it keeps bottoming out over jumps.
What is the rear shock on the bike now and what size? I’m finding mine bottoming out a lot even though I have three volume spacers in the shock and am thinking of changing it.
Within the mission control app you need to use the 'fake' channel, as they call it, to send the data to your preferred device for display. Garmin, Wahoo etc.
