Hey,
I recently bought a set of 100% Strata 2 goggles. I basically want to protect my eyes from wind/bugs/dirt and most importantly, rocks and sticks in the event of a crash.
I've worn these for a total of 15 mins and I'm not enjoying them. The reduced visibility of the trail leaves me feeling...
Received my Strive On a few days ago and finally had a chance to get it out to the trails. It's a beast! I've upgraded from a Calibre Bossnut Evo (£1000 go outdoors bike, full sus but budget tier rockshox/SRAM/shimano parts) so there's a lot of new stuff here over and above the "e" aspect.
I...
Just looking for experiences with people buying a bike online. While I typically prefer to shop local, when looking at mountain bikes I can often find deals with discounts of £2-3k on £6-8k bikes, local shops tend to be full price. My other issue is the few local shops aren't selling the bikes I...
Still yet to buy an ebike but my intention is to use my Yakima roofbars I already have for my analog until I can afford a hitch/rear carrier. Max weight for the Yakima is 18kg, and with the front tire and battery removed it should bring the bike within/close to that limit.
I agree with the...
Not quite a bike/part but the Evoc Blackline Trail backpack finally hit my target price of £120 delivered (down from £200) - https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/p/evoc-fr-trail-blackline-20l?color=black&sizeStandard=M/L&istCompanyId=8d42cf00-fc35-44ce-8770-97ae3ffd4c16

To partially answer my own question - I visited an authorized Canyon repair shop in my city.
They were saying that they've had amazing experiences with Canyon after sales. They did say it can be quite dire as an end customer if you have to deal with them but their more direct contacts have been...
Scotland
Fort William - Chairlift access - 3 main trails. DH world cup, a challenging black, and possibly the worlds most disapointing blue.
Glencoe - Chairlift access - 2 main trails. Super fun but sketchy red. Very challenging black (I've not had the guts to try it yet).
Tarland Trails (2)...
I appreciate this has been discussed a lot as I've read them all! I feel this question is new, as a lot of threads are older, during covid, and before they had a recently opened UK service center (according to a users post).
I'm looking for recent experiences with Canyons after sales support...
As I understand it, Bosch seem pretty accepting of replacing a faulty motor while still in warranty (albeit I've seen some statements of it taking forever).
When out of warranty, is it still a simple enough process but just costs you? What is the expected price range while out of warranty for...
Mine too - but through recent somewhat related physio sessions I've discovered this is muscular and not a problem with the bones. If you're unsure I'd recommend either going to a physio or looking up stretching exercises for where your pain is. My bike being a bit too small probably doesn't help...
I'm a tad over 6'2 (~188 cm - 88cm inner leg). I've been riding my Large Calibre Bossnut Evo for 5 years and always found it a bit too small and wished I'd gone XL, though I sat on a large YT Decoy recently and that felt like a good size. I put my inner leg length and height into the Canyon...
I'm one good sale away from finally getting myself a proper e-mtb so my research has increased.
Around the web I've seen a lot of people moaning about the 15mph EU speed restriction, and how when using their ebike in the city normal cyclists are always passing them as the restriction is too...
Hey all,
I'm starting to seriously look at getting an e-mtb as a successor to my "analog" bike.
I've noticed a couple of bikes that offer the ability to remove the battery/motor to be able to ride a lighter bike when there is an uplift available.
I'm struggling to find the proper search terms...
