1st build - My old DH Beater

Looking forward to this build. I have an old Haro DHR with Super Monster T forkset. I will be installing a CYC X-1 V2 with BAC 2000 and 72V Backpack battery. I have everything in hand but the battery. I'll be doing the build in a month when I return to the USA

    CYC conversion kits

I'm not sure. I thought about it, but no way to know from where I am... I already paid for the controller mount, so I'll have that and can determine if it will fit there. That would be a clean location. My goal is a clean install, so if I can keep things from hanging off the bottom, even better.

    CYC conversion kits

Ok, thanks for the response. I was hoping you still had a contact for the file used for the 3d printed battery base. I spent a bunch of time on the bike, and was comfortable with it, but that was a while back. We will have to sneak up on full power....

    CYC X1 Pro Fatbike

Nice write-up. Good info I will use for building my sons e-fatbike. I grabbed him a Framed Montana and very pleased with the bike as a baseline for the Cyc X1 pro kit. We are both excited to ride this summer. I will be doing the X1 on my old downhill bike.

    CYC conversion kits

Hey there! I'm running a Haro DHR which is the same as the M1. I have an X1 v2 kit in the USA with the bike, waiting for me to return in a month to do the build. I have Captain Codswallop printing me a kit for the BAC2000 controller. He needs my downtube diameter in order to set up the 3d...

    Newbie with a dodgy knee

Bad knees and old = emtb, lol. Right there with ya. I'm trying to resurrect my antique downhill bile for use so I can get some time in the trails with my 12yo boy. I bought him a fat bike and he is showing some skills / interest. So converting the bikes to ebikes so I can join him. I'm...

    New “old” guy.

There's a ton you don't "need" right out of the gate. Good to do your research though so you don't end up buying and replacing stuff.

New Old guy with bad knees

Hi all, new to the hobby. I am resurrecting my old DHR for use as an ebike, so I can get some active time with my 12yo son. I am suffering from some bad knees from abusing my body in my younger years. We are doing a cross country trip for 8 months, so wanting to get our bikes sorted before...
