Just makes sure you have lock tite on your bolts check tightening from time to time. Remove battery for chairlift days or at least for the uplifts, makes everyones day easier... or do crossfit so you can lift the e bike with one arm...
other wise i was much faster with the e bike on...
Yep thats the black washer, the way i did it was:
flip bike upside down
put grease on the washer
push the bolt in , so there is just enough to hold the washer in place , but not sticking out in away it would block the engine mount
swing the motor back in place ( i use the 2 rear...
so I used both ideas here,:
1 dropped engin leaving just 2 rear bolts so it swivles on that axis
2 pulled original hose from top so it becomes free and out the funnel fro the rear chain stay
3 screwed in the the reverb connector with new and original hose in the motor...
dielectric grease is an insulator it is non condusive and waterproof , if you put it on the connectors you ll block the current. velox is a special contact grease that does transmit current.
Ha ha ha nice in France we ve gone soft no more guillotine.. 😂
So after filming the issues and all their recommendations still failing the Motor is replaced and battery as well.
Bike has been in warranty for 5 months. Just head aches...
I'am selling it after. And already have something...
The bike has 1500 km and has 6 months warranty left ( so it is just under 2 years old.
Good question I am dealing with Giant in France.
The bike is used to climb up roads and alpine tracks and ride town enduro tracks.
I agree it should be replaced but they are just rejecting it so i'm most...
So after 4 months going back and forth with giant, they tell me the motor has no problem, determine that I ride in the smallest cog on the highest power assistance, pedal too slowly... Utter BS and it is my fault, then i am told the bikes have humidity problems and i shouldn't ride in the rain...
Shouldnt you correct the geometry with offset bushings or something?
why do you want to set it up as a mullet/mixed wheels?
did you loose ground clearance or get more pedal strikes?
Hi All,
As mentioned i am considering a size M Orbea wild M20. I currently ride a Giant reign e+1 it is a mullet bike so tire rub in steep tight technical places has never been an issue.
So I am wandering how 5'6 5'7 riders do . ( i'm 170 in metric) Do the y have rear wheel rub...
quick question I read higher up that you put dielectric grease on your battery pins??? unless i am mistaken that is not a conductor so it should block the current from going through.. Or did i miss understand?
Any way i tried around the battery around the control still the same result. And...
Has any one tried a Fast fenix on a 23 wild? I have a giant reign e+ with a fast fenix that could on paper fit on the wild. though ashame the lock out climb function would be unreachable
I'm having the L2 red light issue , brought it to the dealer, the replaced all the cables connections checked battery.. bike rode well for 2 hours and then red light again even on flat or uphll fire roads, so I'll have to return it i guess this time it will be a motor. but it is...
Hi , good idea. here is the advice i can share, Analogue race , a lot more people and more aggressive / lunatics in the back and mid pack who ride 150% of their capacity. e bike less people and i guess they are more aware. make sure your brakes are upto it. ebike is good every where ...
You mean the rebound knob at the bottom? It should not be an issue I tried a mates one quickly and it was good.
I ride the fast Fenix enduro and never had an issue touching frame or anything.
Changing rebound on the trail does mean i have to remove my gloves or push with a multitool...
I have fit a Woolftooth chainring very tough and the rest is XTR Kit I had hanging around from my old analog bike. so far no issues mud rain snow dust mainly alpine dh duties with the climbing to get there. I only swapped it as I broke the OEM XT ( E+1) and took time to get spare cage at the...
My local bike shop could build the wheels and let me check online if i could get best prices for hubs and rims i wanted , and they got spokes and nipples then they asked if i wanted custom coulor for spokes and nipples ect . They also advised me to go for Jbend spokes and hubs as...
I had similar experience, straightened the wheel, it later bent again... In the end i went for a custom build, DT swiss 240 Hybrid Hub and a DT swiss FR 541 rim really tough rim built for rough terrain jumps ect. asked my local bike shop to build it up with spokes and nipples, much tougher set...
