Yep, on the perfect grade and you're sprinting as soon as the motor cuts off it feels like you are hitting a wall! If you go onto level ground turn off the motor completely, gear down a little and it should feel like any other bike. It's a trippy feeling on both counts.

Just finished installing a set of Maven brakes. The stealth master cylinder doesn’t play nice with dropper remotes or mode selection switches. Spent half the evening grinding the dropper mount to fit in the tight spot there. Had to keep the lever there or the ergonomics would be 💩

Just ordered a set of Maven brakes. 51yrs old and have been having trouble with hands between general hard miles, full time bike mechanic and a crash in September where both hands slapped down on extremely hard pack injuring joints on both thumbs! Hopefully the mavens will allow safe braking...

Haven’t been able to ride for three weeks due to two sprained thumbs. I installed a Lauf lower headset bearing as a poor man’s steering damper. I ride a Heckler with ZEB fork.

I don’t want to carry the weight on normal rides. Love the idea of adding a range extender for the longer rides.
