E8000 switching off and on again

If external battery, then the loose battery could be the problem (happened to me = after tightening battery holder no problems anymore).

Transalp. Munich to Lake Garda in Italy

Great trip, great video and great route (+weather seemed to be excellent also!)! This was very inspiring since I have been thinking excatly this route my self (because it is easy to fly to Munich and start the trip straight from there). Wouldn't you happen to have gps track to share from this trip?

eFat bike with modern geometry, proper tire clearance and removable battery?

Yes - Norco would be great if it would have removable battery. Head agle is abit steep to my liking, but that could be fixed with angle set.. But that damn battery is no go for that kind of bike.. Really pitty...:(

MOVED: eFat bike with modern geometry, proper tire clearance and removable battery?

And how relevant is that to my original question? If we take four lates ones which I have ridden: ×Canyon Dude size Large has 455mm reach, 439mm chainstay and 68.5 degree head angle. ×Pole Taiga size Large has 490mm reach, 470mm chainstay and 66 degree head angle. ×KTM Machina Freeze 261...

MOVED: eFat bike with modern geometry, proper tire clearance and removable battery?

For example in my work I cannot take it inside and I have 25km of nice trails to there = have to charge it in the winter time also at work (+battery is already warm when I leave from work to home). Also fully integrated non removable battery is the most stupidest thing to have in cold winter in...

eFat bike with modern geometry, proper tire clearance and removable battery?

Does anyone know if there is any eFat bike with this kind of spec: *Shimano, Bosch, Brose or Yamaha mid motor. *Tire clearance for 2XL 5.05" tires. *External, or easily removable integrated battery. *Modern frame geometry with reach about 455-475mm in size Large (or in any size). *If possible...

    Spectral:on 7 _ w/o motor

Yesterday I did a group enduro ride with about ten local riders with normal enduro bikes. I was the only one with ebike I thought that I will start by riding as long as I could without assistant. To my surprise I ended up riding the whole 34km / 3 hour ride without assistance at all. Yes the...

    Anyone tried a 29 rear wheel in a Spectral:ON?

I have had 2.35x29" Rock Razor at the back. It fits, but no bigger than that. I have also had 3.0x27.5" Fat Freddie front and back. That also fits, but no bigger than that.

Article Video: Ebike specific chain – is it worth it?

knut7: Very clever and simple idea how to test two chains against each other! This is the only way to get exactly same environmental and usage conditions for both of the chains. 11 speed chain test would be even more interesting.. Maybe linking three chains together - Shimano, SRAM and KMC ;)

Article All new 2020 Merida eONE-SIXTY

Seems to be that Specialized is the only one who actually can make reasonable light bike with integrated battery. Maybe they have patented that structure where the battery slides from bottom and you can keep the down tube as a tube and because of that use reasonable wall thicknesses and so on...

    Angleset? 27.5?

Yep - stock BB is very low and excellent if you don't have to pedal in rocky/rough terrain. When I visit bike parks/downhill tracks I also put the rear end to low position since lower BB works very well in that kind of environment. And even though BB height is something like 328mm at stock in...

    Angleset? 27.5?

I have 1-degree Works angleset in my bike and fork is also 165mm. Did this because I am running rear end at higher position to gain some pedal clearance (I ride often in very rough terrain and stock bike at low setting has just too low BB height to my purposes + a bit slacker front end helps...

    Official Canyon EMTB Thread

2.4-2.5"x29" should fit, since I just put the stock 29" front wheel + 2.5" Minion to the back and when the wheel is off the ground you can center the wheel even though your axle is 3mm too small and hub too narrow = still can see the space. And that 2.5x29" Minion just barely fits.

    Tubeless - Whats required?

Yep, you need the tubeless valves (they are not included with the bike). Otherwisr those H1700 wheels are good to go.

    Help the Canyon PPS sizing!

Because he didn't have dropper earlier? It shouldn't be about seat tube height when you choose the right size frame, it should be about reach. And if some frames just have too hight seat tube in the size which has proper reach for you - then it would be much wiser to choose some other bike...

    Help the Canyon PPS sizing!

XL for sure, but with shorter dropper. Or some other bike. I am 180cm with 87cm inseam and have size L. My friend is also 180cm and a bit shorter inseam and he also rides size L. We have a bit shorter stems and seat is pushed a bit forward to compensate relative slack seat tube angle by todays...
