I honestly don’t hear my bike motor when I’m riding up.. probably due to the sound of my laboured breathing as most of our climbs have lots of short punchy spots that can get up to 25-30% with a consistent 10-15%. I generally run in eco to trail as I still prefer to get a workout when riding. 😉...
I agree wholeheartedly with you! Terrible ride yesterday even on one of my favorite trails, Red R..so sketchy right now! Never thought I would be saying “I miss the rain” 😑
I can confirm that he most definitely pushes harder on the Mtn bike than most 60 yr olds 😳. I’m the younger wife (52) that has to fix all his “hurts”.. and there are many!😂
Unknown to me, my baggy outer shorts had slipped down slightly (didn't notice as the waist belt on the bladder was tighter so just felt that). As I stood up, the nose of my saddle snagged the crotch of my shorts and slammed my backside back down into the saddle
Sounds like your baggy shorts...
Squamish has some XC but it’s known more for its steep, loose and slabby trails that have high consequence. We also boast some pretty epic machine built fast, flowy and jumpy trails. Worth the stop on your next trip through!!
I like Angie! We need more Angies in the world..💕. I’m still waiting for the grandchildren but yes, there is so much life left for us “well aged” ladies!

How are you finding the Michelins? I’ve always run Maxxis but have heard great things about Michelins on MTb’s so It would be nice to have opinions from someone other than professionals who shred way harder than me…😂
Levo SL owner here from Squamish BC. I fought the Ebike with great disdain for a couple years then tried my hubby’s who got one after a bad injury. I smiled from ear to ear and even threw in a couple woops, i enjoyed it so much.
Nothing brings a bigger smile to my face than riding this bike...
