It’s one of my favourites so far. Fast and flowing. Added bonus is lying up the initial 3m climb. If you like the flow trails at Hamsterley you will love Llandegla. Well worth a visit.

You may have pulled the pin and bought the Rail but I thought I would share my experience of the 2 bikes with you. I have a Rail 5 and 4 mates have Orbea wild Fs in differing specs. In our experience, the Rail actually climbs better the Orbea has a more solid feel and less creeks. the 2 bikes...

A Trek rail 5 owner with some wheel issues

Mine does the same thing. It’s definitely the wheels as I have now slapped a new 27.5 in the rear and only the front wheel now flexes. the oem wheels are made of cheese.

Smallest crank arms on a Trek Rail.

I have made my Trek rail a mullet and flipped the chip to the high setting, I now find the bottom bracket to be a little low causing the odd pedal strike if not paying attention. my question is, what is the shortest people have gone with the crank arms?

    Trek Rail 5 fork upgrade.

I bought a low spec rail 5 knowing that I would be adding upgrade parts that I already had but one thing I overlooked was the oversized crown on the fork. My 2020 version of the rail came with a Rockshox 35 rl gold which makes just about any other rock shox for with 35mm stanchions are bigger an...
