Why has Specialized started making updates in the app day “visit main dealer to update” when we used to be able to update the gen 2 through Mission Control?? So annoying
Just ridden it. It’s like a different bike. Also I do all my own maintenance anyway but obviously i couldn’t get a motor warranty replacement without the shop Doing it but I do everything else myself normally.
I’m in love with my bike again :)
Ok so I’ve rebuilt the entire thing. Even took off the rear triangle and shock linkage etc, motor out and started from scratch. Greased every bolt, torqued everything exactly as in the manual and put it together meticulously. Totally silent!!!! Fixed it and don’t know why or how but it’s silent...
Removed my motor and the blue spacers are in the motor mount holes tight but one red one is loose as. I know these are just push in and out but only one is ultra loose fitting. Is this ok?
So RaceCo cycles replaced my motor under warranty and the bike would creak before the motor change the same as it does now. Its horrendous as it sounds like the whole Motor mount area is twisting the carbon frame somehow yet ive gone round every bolt and torqued the whole lot, even removed the...
Hi
Ive read that a gen 2 levo can take a 210x55 rear shock, is this true and does it need any linkage change to accommodate this?
I have a 2020 Levo carbon expert
Thanks in advance
Yeah I hadn’t heard about don skene but Berkshire I’ve heard loads of great things about too. It’s brilliant that these dealers can be so superb at their job and make an unfortunate event so much smoother to resolve in a courteous and efficient way. I wish all of them all the very best in...
And just to add is another reason I hope Specialized continues to support dealers like these and not shaft them with this direct to market sales fluff! Look after your family Spesh!
I bought my Levo carbon expert 2nd hand from RaceCo in December and the motor developed an issue after 150 miles. It had covered 1000 miles total. Took it today and they swapped the motor out for a brand new august 2021 model motor there and then whilst I waited. 1.5 hours and I was driving...
You can use a socket instead to push on that fits the motor surround instead of the axle itself. Can’t remember off the top of my head which mm socket you use but does the same job
If you remove your top cap of the stem is your fork steerer near on flush with the top of the stem lip? Mine was and that was my issue as it needs to be 2-3mm below the stem edge to pull on the cap down. If flush there's no pull so effectively untightened headset.
Worth a look
