How long did it take for Shimano to replace the motor ? my bike which is only 3 months old has been at the LBS for a month now. Santa cruz didn't help and shimano said they'll replace the motor which is yet to be shipped to LBS.
yes both are m8x30. the stock rockshox comes with a bearing mount but santa cruz confirmed over email that you can either use the bushing or the fox bearing hardware.
I got the R build and had to make the following changes to improve on an already awesome bike
1. switched rear shock to fox dhx2 coil, the stock one was great for jumps and downhill but climbing was very harsh. As seated and pedalling up at 9mph was injurious to my butt :D

Rocky mountain and Norco seem to understand this problem better and have aligned their motor to be higher than the chainring.
Also giant (2021 and older) bikes probably have a giant issue at hand (lol)
just got off my first ride on the bullit. is there anyway we can raise the bottom bracket of this bike ? I had too many motor strikes on the goto tech trail. at one point felt deceleration and got worried if I was gonna OTB.
