I really like the spec on my +2, the ZEB is fantastic and I was not so sure about the dpx2, but it’s great. My regular bike is a transition sentinel with lyrik and dpx2, I don’t love the dpx2 on that bike, but on the giant it feels great. I’m sure another shock could be better, but I can’t fault...
I have the Mudhugger evo bolt-on front fender for the ZEB that came on my e+2, it looks like the domain on the e+3 has the same fork arch holes for a bolt-on fender, keep in mind you also have to buy a ZEB adapter for the mudhugger front fenders. On the rear I used a small mudhugger rear fender...
I’ve just done a bit of reading on them, the float x sounds like a better shock, it requires less pressure for proper sag. The rebound and compression circuits are separate from each other so changing the compression doesn’t have an effect on rebound. The float x is between the dpx2 and float x...
Did your e+2 come with the float x? Mine came with the dpx2 in Canada, I wonder if there’s a huge difference in performance. I like the dpx2 because it definitely makes the bike playful and poppy, I have thought about changing it out at some point though.
I bought a One-up large EDC pump, it fits nicely by the frame and is pretty tucked away because of the battery bulge, not a bad solution and a bit more versatile if you have multiple bikes and want to swap it between frames, you just need extra pump mounts.
I’ve had about 13-14 rides on it since I got it, I’ve hosed it off every ride so far because the trails are always muddy here at this time of year. The battery compartment is pretty wet, which it shows from the pictures, I even removed the bracket that holds the top of the battery in to check...
It will go a lot further if you stick to the lower power modes, I think if I did a ride in mode 2 or 3 the whole time I could go quite a bit further. While I’m climbing in auto it definitely is using full power while going up fire roads, if I use auto it will use a bar of battery in the first 20...
I just finished a ride on auto mode, managed to go 25.6 km with 910 m of climbing. By the end the battery was at its lowest I’ve seen so far, it turned orange for a bit then kicked me out of auto and into the lowest power mode. Just after that the orange battery light started blinking, I didn’t...
I’ve had mine for 3 weeks now and it has been very wet where I live. I don’t have much option but to hose my bike off after every ride, it’s too muddy not to. I’ve ridden through streams and a countless puddles, but luckily I haven’t had any issues with the bike not working. The battery...
Thanks, I looked all over their website to find info like that but only found info for other controllers.
I’m still having the charging issue where the green light doesn’t stop blinking. I’m sure an update with the app would fix that, I just don’t want to corrupt the firmware on the bike as...
I convinced myself I the cockpit setup was not going to be good, so I spent the day trying different bar and stem combos. Turns out the 50mm stem and bar it comes with feel the best to me. I tried a 35mm, 40mm and the 50mm stem at different heights. I kind of want to try a 45mm stem just to see...
I just bought a Reign e+ 2 yesterday, my local shop was out of 1s in size large and won’t be getting any more this year. It was a bit of a hard decision to go for it because I like the spec of the 1 a lot.
When I’ve charged the battery the green light doesn’t stop blinking, I left it on charge...
