I have the DPX2 as well from the 2021 Comp model, which I then swapped for the DVO Topaz. The Topaz is far better performance-wise, but the DPX2 has a 12.7mm steel shaft, so that's probably why they used it.
(Also, the DPX2 has pretty quickly sucked air into the oil, which seems to be a common...
I've seen that video as well, but cannot find the shock itself anywhere here in Europe (in the correct size). It's even not showing up on the Suntour page itself anymore.
Besides that, has anyone had problems with air shocks breaking due to the Kenevo's long yoke / strut length?
I've been...
Kenevo Comp 2021 and RaceFace NW 36T.
It's still holding up, but maybe next time I'm going to look for one made out of steel.
IIRC I had to switch the chain guide to point back and then down instead of down and then back for it to fit.
The housing for the dropper post is a b**** to route, my housing is pretty beat up now but I've done it once (well, multiple times on that day...) and swore to not try again if not absolutely necessary. Maybe it would be easier if the bike is upside-down. Or so high above you that you aren't in...
This and a new seal and a new crush ring, which are included in the belt kit.
At least I suppose it would work, I couldn't see any other damage and the cogs worked fine once the belt was removed.
The tension adjuster seemed to be fine as well, it's on the right in the image (on the lid).

After neither Specialized nor my dealer have contacted me since, I finally opened up the motor. Which was harder than I anticipated, in the videos it always seemed to be relatively easy, but I had to pry somewhat hard, marring the material a bit. The bearing around the axle was very tightly...
I had searched quite a bit for a multitool that included the 2mm hex (Shimano rear derailleur limit screws & special garmin mount on top of my ahead screw) and most importantly the chain tool as well (never go riding without one unless you can get to your house/car/whatever easily), and that I...
I just couldn't get myself to use such a long mud guard in the back yet.
The "problem" is that these are the *only* ones that will effectively protect your back from mud, all the other ones will only (somewhat) work for the shock and the linkages. The mud flings off at around the highest point...
AFAIK the frame isn't sold separately. At least it didn't show up on the Specialized page, and there was a section "How to build your frame" for the Levo, but not for the Kenevo on their support section.
You can calculate the new geometry for the bike here...
With my old Kenevo motor I sometimes had a "27km/h" bug, where the speed sensor connected to my Garmin 130 claimed to run at 27 km/h no matter how fast/slow I was actually going. Which had some really weird effects in combination with the GPS, i.e. it would track much much more than I actually...
Yeah I have a couple of pages back, I don't really recommend it.

I changed the rear brake hose without removing the motor, it works, but is a bit finicky.
The dropper post cable on the other hand was a total PITA. I did eventuall manage to route it without removing the motor as well, but it is something I want to avoid at all costs in the future if not...
I have an S2.
On the front it should be fine. The down tube doesn't come closer to the tire than the fork crown with a Yari/Lyrik 29" 170mm under full compression, there's still about 25mm distance to the down tube. It might interfere a bit with my longer winter front mud guard though, this I...
According to their website it's 575mm for 29" @170mm. Plus or minus 5. I must have picked up a reading with the minimum value somewhere, corrected that.
Out of interest, can put a sliding caliper on the tire and measure the casing width, tread width and height of the tire? Haven't seen much info on the Pirelli tires at all so far.
Also, wider rims normally make the tire wider as well and therefore reduce its height. So the 37mm internal width...
