Apple AirTag - Trek Powerfly & Rail

In all fairness my general knowledge is fuelled google and physics stack exchange as a source ☺ Those muc-off mounts sound like a quick to market chinese job... If they acutally spent the time testing, they may have something decent. A nice enough idea, maybe a little ignorant..?

Apple AirTag - Trek Powerfly & Rail

Actually carbon fiber is quite conductive and thus has a something of a Fadaray cage effect. It also absorbs radio waves, so is more of an RF shield. What does helps is the wires and metal shielded hose and cable guides that pass nearby that act as antennas. Just my general knowledge 2 cents... :)

    Trek eMTB Survey

I love that trek provides a cable and guide through the frame for a motor powered front light. Can we have the same for the rear too please (In the seat tube, ideally)?! Current options are through the shock mount hole or between the frame and swing arm - would be nice to keep the frame clean...

    Lupine C14 cable routing

Anyone fitted a Lupine C14 real light to their rail? How did you route the wiring? Neatest solution would be drilling a small hole In the seat post as lupine have done on their demo model, but don’t fancy giving up my lifetime frame warranty. Was thinking of modifying the charging porting and...

Are expensive bike lights a rip off?

Personally I think it's more about beam pattern than raw lumens, and this has to match varying speeds. You can shine a laser for 2 km but you won't see didly squat in the rest of the range your eye sight can reach outside that beam. Great for the spookies effect in your peripheral vision...

Are expensive bike lights a rip off?

@Rob Rides EMTB Hey Rob, In the spirit of your video, any chance of an ebike specific light (as in ebike powered) showdown video, budget/sponsorship/time allowing? Doesn't seem to have been done yet comprehensively and I for one sure would love to see that (and find it helpful) :) Cheers S.

    Trek Rail Service manual

Hey Guys, Looking for the the complete service manual to care for my 2020 Rail 7 (not the service manual supplement that you can easily find online). Obviously not looking to take business away from LBS’s, but I like to get my hands dirty and know my gear and as with my cars I have habitually...
