I just realized Shimano has two 630Wh batteries that look and feel the same but have zero compatibility. Wondering how many people got 8036 for EP801 or 806 for EP800 and had to deal with returns... I get it, the new 10-step battery reading requires some new internals and overal battery...

I have somewhat similar issue with my e160 8000 Does your 900 have ep8 motor? Does it sound anywhere close to this? ( Shimano EP8 clicks. ) Does the click go away after a few miles into the ride? (Mine does) Huh: Quick Update - Trier swapping the cranks left to right - same click.

It kind of self-resolved. Found out that the play is normal. People say It has to be there for the internal clutch to work properly and anything up to whole 2mm of movement is good. It does not affect ride quality and although I would prefer no play at all - I just forgot about it and enjoy...

It's Shimano FCEM600. Although, it does not seem to be connected to the cranks whatsoever. The whole assembly is moving. I'm sure it will do same even if I remove the cranks completely.
