After so many faultless miles it's probably crank bearings. Check for play with the crank arms in horizontal and lateral position.
Don't know service prices in North Florida but I guess they are similar to Europe. I had mine serviced for 306 € incl fresh outer in inner bearings, fresh freehub...
Hi Folks.
I still love riding my Giant Trance 2020. But it's a pain to work on.
So I thought I better sell the it after the engine service, while it runs great and there is a predictable lifetime on the crank bearings left.
But should I get a newer Giant or look somewhere else ? (The end of...
Hi folks.
My engine has started making some
unhealthy noises from crank bearings.
So it’s time for service. Do you have any experience with this kind of overhaul inside the EU?
I’m based in Denmark and there is no engine service available here.
Thanks in advance

Thanks
I’ll draw a wire diagram. Think that will clarify it a lot and may be helpful for other owners.
I’ll have to wait a week anyway for a new battery connector after chopping the wrong wires.
Don’t mix IPA and DIY electronics 🤓
Hi guys - I could really need some help here.
For starters I waterproof'ed every connector with liquid tape but it was freaking impossible to get everything back behind the engine shields, so now I'll do the charger and lights chop. But that's easier said than done. I find the spliced wires a...
Hi folks,
I have seen riders here using the Mudhugger - but what size are you running on the 27.5 Trance?
Is the 27.5 version sufficient or do I need the 29er version?
After taking everything apart I struggle with refitting the upper battery holder combined lock.
On the underside of the lower tube above the battery sits two torx screws and no matter how I do them up the key cylinder gets out of alignment in the hole made for in the frame. It used to be flush...
Simplifying the wire harness – Giant Trance 2020
Hi again. I tested the bike with the charging plug disassembled and everything was working fine. So I’m tempted to leave it out and run a simpler setup for easy packing of the wires/connectors behind the engine covers.
@Evolution Stu could you...
Thanks for your advices @cappuccino34 👍
I will consider removing the charging port as well.
Like anyone else with practical sense I'm truly baffled about the clumsy work with the wiring layout. If the battery was mounted upside down all the connectors could have been hidden in an area near the...
Spicy  Nice one @Evolution Stu ! Would love to revisit Ae - have only been there once. And E-bike makes so much sense in the Stan's I have ridden in. Shame we can't fly with the beast's.
Thanks for your valuable input - I guess I have read all your post regarding your Trance challenges...
