Depends what you ride, but the new DHF Exo+ 29x2.6 is a good start. I sold my Bullit just because it didn’t fit my usage but I swap between an Assegai and DHR MaxxTerra DD or Exo on my enduro depending on how much climbing I’m doing on a ride (Assegai for zero climbing, shuttled).
I have a...
Don’t know if you’ve tried already, but definitely need to swap out the Assegai for long days. I won’t ever run one on my analogue bike for any sort of pedal-powered ascent, only at shuttled parks for the DH grip. Same would apply to the Bullit but obviously self-shuttling at the parks instead...
Could have passed for an MBR cover pic if it weren't for that flytipping in the background!
That's a really sick looking build dude! Nothing wrong with the Bullit, it was just a case of me jumping from 6 year old relatively tame geo to a super slack, aggressive modern enduro bike. I just...
I 'adapted' to the geo alright, but on a Nomad! Managed to test ride one nearby and now building a frame up super light for multi-day enduro rides. The EMTB for me is definitely the Heckler - shorter range, lower weight and smaller frame for short, quick rides on weekdays (plus I'm still in love...
Hi mate, this is pending sold and I was just about to update the thread this morning after a cup of coffee, sorry!
Out of curiosity where did you find the Bronson? I've been trying to find one for the past two weeks! I've got a Nomad frame on order ready for a super-light 12.5-13kg build so the...
Haven’t registered it yet so it’s ready for whoever gives it a new home. I was originally after a copper coil as well! No coils to be found, but the Lavender really grows on you and now I wish there was another SC bike with the same scheme.
Good luck hunting down your spec!
Thanks for the offer but I’m looking to ‘downsize’. Big mountain emtb days are looking like they’ll have to wait until next year sadly, so going back to a 27.5 analogue for the summer and will probably pick up a 2022 Heckler MX for next year.

Test ridden 'new', 6 miles on the Odometer. Too much bike for me...
Canyon Spectral but a good few years old, not sure exactly what year it was but looking online I think it may have been around 430 reach / 67-68 head tube angle. I did swap out the bars and stem on it but don't remember why. Also have a Chameleon set up as 27.5 but I wouldn't really want to...
Weird, just took delivery of a medium and feels huge to me (174cm). I'm coming off a medium 27.5er though so the slacker headtube and longer reach coupled with the big front wheel is a huge change. Not sure it's for me yet, I wanted more travel for the gnarlier trails here but I miss the...
