Good point, I never used sticky soles till my first pair of Five Ten years ago. So I guess I could go back. But I'll give those Vaude Moab shoes a go first, they look like what I'm looking for.
I just got back into (e)MTB and I'm looking for shoes for the winter. I used to love Five Ten's but the new "Adidas" narrow fit is hurting my rather wide feet (size 13.5). So I'm looking for something fairly water resistant with a very wide "toe box" for flats.
Any tips much appreciated.
Sadly my "commuter" parts where not yet ready and I decided to leave the bike in the shop till next week. I rode it for a bit though and it's lots of fun.
I'm picking up my 6.9 tomorrow! Finally, after five months of waiting and see the summer come and go... Still happy and excited though, this will be my first e-mtb. I plan to use it for commutes and weekend trails, then next year take it to Germany on a holiday.
I'm considering either the Thron 6.8 EQP (fenders + light) or the Jam 6.7 Nine. The Jam is 100e cheaper but without fenders and light. It does seem to have a better shock and breaks package. Or are the differences between "Suntour Edge LOR" and "RockShox Deluxe Select" not very big? The breaks...
I'd like to get a bike that can do trails but also commute, pull a dog trailer for a medium sized dog (14kg) and add some occasional light camping gear.
I like what Focus has to offer and am in doubt what to choose .
Is there anyone here that had the same use case, and if so what did you end...
Hi everybody. I'm planning to get back on a mtb, a e-mtb this time. Got my first mtb back in 1990, a Specialized Stumpjumper. The last bike I owned was a 2018 Canyon Strive. But I did not go out on it as much and sold it. Now looking to buy a e-mtb. For commutes and weekends out with my dog...
