So far so good with the redesigned swingarms. Had planned to sell the Voima once they’d arrived and get a Crestline but I think I’d have to pay someone to take the Pole off my hands now that they’re done.
Hoping we’ll see more selection in the long travel ebike market in the next couple years...
Both swingarms on my 2nd gen Voima crumpled landing a small jump but clearly there must have been cracks growing for a while. The rips in the failed swingarms started exactly where the problem spot is where the lower linkage bolts up.
Pole replaced swingarms and linkages just before they went...
My Voima swingarms crumpled a few months ago. Leo & Pole were super helpful. Took a few months to get the new ones because they had to redesign them, but they were ultimately shipped overnight from Finland to SF once they were finally ready.
The week after they arrived, I saw the bankruptcy...
Smitten with the new LinkGlide setup so I’ve got a brand new XX cassette up for grabs if anyone is on the hunt:

At 250lbs eco is just enough to keep pace with non-eebs, which is literally the only time I’ve ever used it. I love seeing friends and feel guilty and ride with them. But also hate seeing friends because I feel guilty and ride with them lol.
My local has a very lap-able 5 mile / 1,000’ climb...
FYI I’ve got a barely used EXT Arma I’m looking to part with if anyone is interested. This shock really transforms the bike - turned it into an absolute trophy truck.

Just removed my 2nd attempt at SRAM Transmission and installed 11sp XT link glide 8130 stuff. Shifts like an absolute dream. Only a couple rides in so we will see but at the moment I feel like a ripe idiot for blowing so much $ on expensive sh*t that didn’t last.
Literally the only performance...

Thanks! Yeah I finally located it. Was at a Trek dealer and they took the opportunity to let me know that they thought my Pole was a joke because I didnt know where the diagnostics port was. Great, friendly service.
Anyone know where the diagnostics port is in the Voima ID? At shop now and can’t find anything?
Nevermind. It’s hidden in the top tube mounted display. Unscrew the one screw, pluck out the display, look for the little rubber flap with a wrench on it.
FWIW just dropped off my XX cassette for warranty at the LBS (mountain bike only shop) and they said the Transmission stuff has been nothing but trouble. Lots of broken chains and deteriorating shifting, apparently.
Definitely interested in something more robust like LinkGlide. What do you do...
