It's backlash in the motor. Some people get it worse than others. There is lots of reading material on here about it. It bothered me at first but now I hardly notice it.

I moved the levers inboard and closer to the bar. I thought I had them as far in as they would go but I got the levers ever closer today. I like it! Much better feel. Now time for new pads I think. Thanks for the suggestion! ??
I have given them a chance. Recently rode a friend's Rail 7 with the Shimano 4 pods and it was very noticeable difference. But maybe you're right and I didn't break them in properly?? Maybe I'll try new pads first and do a very strict break in period. Thx
My 2020 Rail 5 rattles pretty good. The chain play when not pedalling over rough terrain pulls on the chainring. With a little bit of play in the drive it creates a clicking sound which is amplified through the frame. Bugs me but Bosch says it normal. Can't see how it's normal when some do it...
I've had my ebike for 4 months now and there's been so many comments on trail like..'oh you have an ebike, I was wondering how you're passing me". Lol! So egotistical.
