Being able to make an electronic adjustment is so much easier. And can plug in between the sensor and harness so easy to fit remove (inside the motor outer casing on a Levo).
This is a simple inductive sensor on most emtb, and a simple firmware program divides the incoming sensor frequency by 2...
Read my post #16 above :)
And yes you are correct. A DC/DC converter is perhaps ~85% efficient.
But there doesn't seem to be any commercially packaged with a 4A output at the required voltage. Plenty of ebike/golf cart/disability device chargers out there, but all 2A.
Makes for a slow charge but...
Did you guys get anywhere with the BMW charger?
The charger is available online in Germany from ENERprof.de for about £40 shipped.
But it has some connector options but none is a Rosenberger RoPD (magnetic). The BIG question is the data connections and aux power poles (two pairs) and what are...
Guys,
Cased the battery 'Rock Guard' and broken a piece off the plastic battery handle (non-drive-side edge, near the charge plug).
Anyone ordered and OEM or otherwise replacement yet?
The 2018 was about £20. It's not a show stopper, but I don't want to whack the more exposed plug next time.

To clarify, I'm just trying to raise the seat height but running out of slack in the dropper cable.
It's so tight I cannot pull it through at the seat tube end, so cannot get the dropper out either.
Plenty of slack at the headstock, and have undone the clamps by the shock pivots and tried...
I'm not sure how that intel is relevant to my question?
So, anyone know if there are other clips or clamps stopping me pulling the existing Bowden cable out?
The X-Fusion Manic post is fitted to the 2019 Turbo Levo Comp FSR.
Anyone know where the outer of the bowden cable is clamped to the frame?
It appears to be pinned under the rear shock with a cable clamp, and then enters a large plastic gland just a few CM further along.
The outer is pretty hard...
My new motor is almost silent, everywhere. I can sustain a few hundred watts for half a minute myself, so its had a decent beating. A shame the major dealer in Saltash, Cornwall were so poor with the service. Hopefully they fitted the motor better than they serviced the bike!
These are super tough, unlike the fragile Garmin. I've stacked a couple times on trail and on road now. They have built in the failure modes - I hate manufacturers that do this. On the 1000 and others the GPS aerial is also in the back panel. Nothing is easy or cheap to fix on a Garmin.
Also...
I took mine from the shop knowing it was a little noisy. They noticed it on the PDI.
I have nothing to compare it with and I don't find it intrusive.
It's right between the two videos above actually - audible but not like the Bosch.
The deal was mine to walk away from - but they promised to...
Just don't pair the Levo to the Wahoo (it's seen as a power meter device) if you auto upload to Strava. It corrupts the speed data so all rides are about double the distance and average speed in Strava. KOMOOT seems to handle it OK.
