I’m afraid Chili has been less than helpful. Bafang has tested it, and surprise surprise it worked ok for them!!! I paid $20 to send it and she wants another $38 to send it back 🤬. Unfortunately there is a lack of honesty, obviously Bafang have fixed it, but I’m left out of pocket.
I wish you...
Hi guys, a couple of questions about M510 v2. Can you calibrate the torque sensor with the BESST tool? Does the Bafang Go + app. connect to the DPC245 display? Thanks.
Straps are behind the original cable brackets. I’ve added a bracket at the bottom to stop the battery sliding down. Then I’ve used thick stick on felt pads for protection.
They are custom made batteries that don’t have a switch connection, so I filled the holes before painting. On my old E-10, I disabled the switch in the battery.
Great for fixing this problem. Do you have a part number for the new torque sensor.
I guess that Bafang shipped a whole batch of motors with faulty torque sensors?
I think most people are using CRX10NC4814i101003.1cs, but there is still a problem. You must wait about 30 seconds after switching on before applying pressure to the pedals.
I have the DPC230, which is easier to read than the previous DPC241. If I could choose, I’d get the DPC231 which has Bluetooth just in case Bafang update their Bafang Go app. to enable setting motor parameters. Hopefully that makes sense.
I downloaded both. The Mac version won’t install, says file is corrupt. The PC version installs ok and seems to have username and password already set, but it’s in Chinese and haven’t managed to get it into English!
