My longest ebike that I've used is approaching 60,000km. Original battery that I custom built. Using LG mj1 3.5ah. 700wh. 58v. Battery has degraded less then 5% In that time.
My other dh ebike is right at 25,000km . It also is custom 58v and uses samsung 35e cells. 1600wh and a measured...
Most expensive bms can be programed.
I've been doing this for decades. Not a single issue so far.
Also. No 4.35v is perfectly safe. Read the spec sheet of any decent cell.
4.4v is bad yes.
Exactly.
I do the same. 60-80% for long term storage. About 3.7-3.9v per cell.
Fully charged. Sometimes even over charged before I hit the trail. Like 4.25-4.35v per cell
Correct.
And if I could add.
Charging to 100% which I do all the time for decades now has resulted in little to no noticeable degradation.
I will say leaving it charged at 100% is detrimental, but we talking like 100% charged for like weeks, even months at a time. However, it's important to...
The biggest issue I see with most ebikes is it's almost always better to be over shocked. Then under shocked.
With regular mtb there is such a thing as having too much or too little travel.
But with a motor, generally speaking, the more the better, and this has been well known in the ebike...
ehh? ive never heard of any ebike battery outputting only 320w, like most ebike batteries can easily do 1,000w or more.
yes, lighter batteries will have less capacity, but 320w output is not even half a hp for crying out loud
even the smallest range extenders that are like 200wh can...
All specialized battery's already output 400w or more. Unless you somehow want to limit your battery to only 400w? I which case why not just use the power modes to lower the power????
Rudeness? Not rude at all. Wear a helmet if u think that was rude. I'm simply stating the facts that have been well established Over the last 10 years.
A other thing to consider that's also been well established over the decades is that the battery % left meter on most ebike is notoriously...
Generally speaking. Assuming ur pedaling and using average amounts of assistance and going on flat to moderate (average) elevation changes.
500wh will get you 50kms.
If you on mostly flat and pedaling alot you can double that so 500wh will get u 100kms.
If you are using a lot of...
OK. Finished up stress testing 2 days ago. Here are the results:
Relatively flat 60% With modern hills 30% and 10% steep hills.
I used the full 3000w up the hills. And on flat hit around 800w at 60kmhrs.
I got right around 124.4kms before LVC kicked in. I then rode around for another 20kms...
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. But at 75.8lb did I created the lightest full suspension 1600wh battery 2wd ebike by accident? Lol??
I did a Google search and every dual suspension 2wd ebike is a fat bike and they all weigh like 80-100lbs.
Also. I have 200mm for travel front and rear...
We don't all live in euro here.
I'm from Canada and I can assure you there are absolutely no laws or regulations when I'm 100km in the
Bush. We have something called crown land here, u can basically do any thing u want. Hunt. Camp. Off road. Shoot guns.etc.etc.
been riding dirt bikes in the...
To use a 3d printer, as long as u have the files downloaded and the code ur using works well/other have used it with good results. Then 3d printing is fairly easy. About as hard as working on a car i would say.
Now. If ur looking to use a 3d printer AND make ur own print files. O boy is it...
