That explains a lot! Mine is loose even when the axle is on. I did ask my LBS about it and they told me it is normal but I think it is time for another visit.
Thanks for the pic! Yes, I have this part and this is exactly what is loose and I believe causes the rattling in my case. It is not something that comes off when I pull the front wheel out, it feels loose but locked in to the hub somehow. Is yours loose or snug when the through axle is on?
I have the same issue and I am convinced it comes from the front hub, the end caps of the hub feel very loose when the through axle is on. What spacer are you referring to? I don't think mine came with one, but it feels like one should be there to keep the end caps snug. Do you have any pics or...
I have Levo Comp Carbon (2018) and would like to use BLEvo while riding. I have no interest on increasing the top speed yet, the 20mph limit the bike comes with in the US is fine for now.
I bought the app (for Android) and when connecting to my bike I am asked to confirm my settings. The top...
Agreed, I had a 120mm MTB in the past and didn't feel the suspension was holding me back (I am 150lb full loaded). With the added 15-20 lb of weight I can see how 130mm would be the minimum. My best guess is that it would be enough but without too much room to grow.
I am leaning towards Trek as well, had a Fuel EX in the past and loved it. The Haibike does have a higher end suspension for the same price but I feel 130mm suspension should be enough for what I am riding (trail, single track with small hills, not really downhill).
May I ask why you suggested...
I have a choice between the following two bikes (both at around the same price - Haibike sold at a discount and actually $200 less than the Trek), I am 5' 7'' / 150lb and have been riding full suspension MTBs for the last 8 years, mostly on trails.
1) Trek Powerfly FS7 2019 in size 17.5
