Thanks again, and always useful to watch a video before attempting the job. My headset has actually been fine, although I do store the bike vertically on its back wheel so maybe that allows the water to drain away

No, I stayed well out of the chaos and mis information - now you can't apply your brakes when the bike is upside down??? Its no big deal, I was just following as I was interested in the outcome. I think a forum counsellor might be a good idea though! you might be onto something there!

I was checking back to see how the chap with the Allmtn7 with the damaged motor was getting on as I have the Allmtn6, but the thread says it cant be found. It still appears on the most recently updated? What was the result? is the motor getting sorted?

I cant compare it to any of the others as I haven't ridden them, but I've got the Haibike Allmtn 6 and its great fun to ride, I would fully recommend it

I'm 5'11 and ride a large Allmtn6, its pretty much the perfect size for me with the seat post clamped at its lowest position.
