WORST BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS - Clothing - bikes - stitches etc -

E8000 speed sensor connection loose at motor.

good call, you`re the second person to suggest compressed air in the connector,i`ve tried the pipe from the vacuum cleaner to no avail so compressed air has got to be worth a try. I`m waiting for delivery of a new speed sensor but will try again with the original set up first. thanks.

Speed sensor to motor..wire doesn't lock in

I can't believe how much trouble I'm having with such a simple connector,I've done a dodgy temporary bodged on it for now but it's not an ideal fix.

Speed sensor to motor..wire doesn't lock in

I've just stumbled across this thread after posting a similar question earlier this morning. I might try giving the plug a squeeze to ovalize it as no matter how hard I push I can't get it to snap in, at least I know it's not just me;)

E8000 speed sensor connection loose at motor.

Yes I am but still can't seem to get enough downward pressure on, I've even tried gripping the plug gently with needle nose pliers but I'm wary of applying too much pressure .

E8000 speed sensor connection loose at motor.

guys, is there a special technique required for refitting the speed sensor plug into the motor socket? i pulled mine out last night but when trying to refit it the plug appears to go all the way back in but wont `snap` back in and only takes the slightest upward pressure to dislodge it, it`s as...

    Answered discharging shimano e8000 battery.

i`ve always recharged shortly after returning from a ride when i was riding weekly but my last ride was november last year so it`s been sitting for almost 2 months all full charge. what`s puzzled me though is that the estimated range in eco on 100% has always shown 52 miles but when i checked a...

    Answered discharging shimano e8000 battery.

Funnily enough I saw that method on YouTube and gave it a go but reckoned it would take a week to use any juice at all. It's the e8020 external battery. I'll just have to get out on knock a few road miles off and use some battery life that way. Thanks for the input.

guys, is it possible to do a partial manual discharge of an e8000 battery?(without actually riding ;)) mine`s currently sitting with a full charge but i`d like to reduce it to 60-80% while it`s not being used. thanks.
