It’s the thread I meant, why bother even looking in if you are against it or it’s not your thing? Do you visit make up forums and post useless posts there too? In fact this forum isn’t against derestricting ebikes, the disclaimer is to point out the legalities of it and not to endorse it to...
Why would you be looking and commenting on a forum that is dedicated to derestricting then lol, makes no sense…?!
I’ve had ebikes for years and the 15mph cut off is abysmal and you go from having an advantage to a disadvantage in a heartbeat, it shouldn’t be a complete restriction but power...
Mine has the latest update with motor lock feature. Other than that what else can they give you that’s worthwhile? I’d be happy with North American limit.. UK 15mph seriously blows
Sorry mate what are you going on about, I’m confused lol.. this thread is all about derestricting the new, 2022, Bosch smart system. Of course all other versions of Bosch can be derestricted, but as of very recently (last week) only 1 option exists to do this and it’s the speedbox v1.0.
Badass...
Cheers for update, I have a couple of badass dongles from previous bikes but how would it fit..? The dongle slides over the chainstay receiver and interrupts the signal.. the new Bosch smart system has integrated components that you can’t get to to fit a dongle?! And the fact you have a gen 2...
Why change to praxis? I have the same bike and the raceface cranks are great. You should visit the giant forum bud, new reign and trance owners are practically throwing these in the bin. Could have picked some up cheap!
I’m not too fussed about accurate speed on kiox, that can be tracked by other means. Hardest part will be stopping the system or LBS from auto updating FW further down the line and bricking the speedbox lol
I’ve been riding Bosch and shimano EMTB’s in boggy Lancashire UK for years now, jet washed after ever ride with no issues st all. This Yamaha motor would melt
Agree. dude obviously doesn’t live in the UK or those two rides a day are a gentle urban commute and not through the bogs I usually ride through weekly. You’re not towling my bike down after those rides I can assure you. Even the jet wash struggles!
The RRP PROGUARD size small fits snuggly upside down in the spot behind the motor and protects it nicely! I’ve also modified a front crud xl fender as a quick removable option above the RRP if the conditions are extra muddy (y)
For the front the FOX XL is a no brainier, great fit
