2022 Rise M20 incoming. Tips and advice welcome.

So I’ve ordered a 2022 Rise M20 from my employers Cycle to Work Scheme provider (no idea how they still have stock from 2022).. This will be my first e-bike and I’d love to hear some tips from owners or about any potential issues I should look out for. Money is a bit tight so I’m not looking to...

Levo Gen 3 C2W Scheme increases. Do I get a Gen 3 Turbo Levo as my first EMTB?

Thanks for the advice folks.. After much deliberation I’ve done what I usually do and order something different. There was a 2022 Orbea Rise M20 reduced to £3500 on the scheme website and with the C2W discount I’ll pay £2500. I liked the look of it more than a Levo and I think the battery size...

Levo Gen 3 C2W Scheme increases. Do I get a Gen 3 Turbo Levo as my first EMTB?

Have already been in for a little chat and there’s no negotiation room other than the discount they’re already doing as I’m using the cycle to work scheme to potentially purchase a bike. As a cash buyer I’d be in a much stronger position.

Levo Gen 3 C2W Scheme increases. Do I get a Gen 3 Turbo Levo as my first EMTB?

I’ve got decent fitness and some good local hills to session. Can do about 4 maybe 5 of the local downhill trails before my legs start to give up. Other MTB is a Stanton Sherpa hardtail, also got a gravel bike (also used as a summer road bike). Always said I’d get myself a top notch Ebike as a...

Levo Gen 3 C2W Scheme increases. Do I get a Gen 3 Turbo Levo as my first EMTB?

My employer has just increased our C2W scheme limit to £5k. Decided it’s finally time to pull the trigger on an EMTB and I have some great local shops to choose from. To keep costs down I’m not looking to max out the limit and want to buy local for when I have any motor/battery issues. Tempted...

Cold garage. Do I need a bike with removable battery?

Have to store my bikes in the garage and as the UK is not known for its favourable weather the garage is cool in the summer and cold the rest of the year, in fact very cold during the winter. Have got a deposit on a Orbea Rise but have some concerns about battery life and charging which will...

Any reason I shouldn’t buy an Orbea Rise?

That’s very close to the spec of my M20 aswell. Fork, shock and brakes upgraded. I’ve also changed the dropper post and tyres which I would still have changed on the M10. Can’t remember exact number right now but I’m sure it was about £600 cheaper than having an M10. I’m happy with the wheels...

Any reason I shouldn’t buy an Orbea Rise?

? I doubt that, I can’t even pre order one yet at my LBS. I’ve still put a deposit down with the spec I want and I’m on the pre order, pre order list!! Expected delivery 2022. ?

Rise, To extend or not to extend, that is the question.

Most of my local rides are minimum 20miles and pretty easy to get up to 40 with at least 2000ft climbing, average nearer to 3000ft. Most of this will be on my hardtail. Will be looking to take the Rise over to Long Mynd more often and also Elan Valley and Breacon in Wales. Riding will be a mixed...

Rise, To extend or not to extend, that is the question.

Put an order in for the M20 with my LBS (can’t actually order one yet and it’s not even the pre order, it’s the pre order, pre order!!) and have put in for a range extender but I’m looking for some real world reviews on battery range to see if it’s even required. For the record I’m 88kg and a...

Any reason I shouldn’t buy an Orbea Rise?

Looking at getting the aforementioned bike. Not keen on the look or weight of full fat e-bikes. My LBS is an Orbea stockist but even without that I like the look of it and the battery (with range extender) and EP8 rs motor are just right for me. I’d go for the M20 model and swap the Fox 34 for...

    I’ll get one eventually. ?

New to this forum but not bikes. Got road and mountain but Ebikes are financially out of reach for me. Maybe take the plunge in a few years. Borrowed a demo bike a couple of years ago and loved it. One day it’ll happen..........maybe
