Hi guys, Has anyone managed to somehow attenuate the typical rattling noise that the Bosch Gen 4 motor makes during rough descents without pedaling?

My Wild rattles from motor area if not pedalling during technical descents, when I get the sharpest and deepest holes. It's the only negative feature of this wonderful emtb.

Just to be sure, did you try to replace also the little battery in the remote shifter?

I replaced successfully the air shock in my L M10 Wild with a Rockshox super deluxe coil RCT, using a 450 lbs coil (my weight is 82 kg).

"800Wh: 4.3kg (To be confirmed)" Confirmed: my 800Wh battery weights 4.364 kg

I replaced my 625 Wh battery with the 800 Wh model just swapping them into the frame, nothing else(y)

In my 2019 Spectral:ON this feature is not achieved with flip chips but with a variable setting point of the rear shock: I suggest you to check if the same solution has been applied to 2022 models.

Hi, in the hope to increase the performance of the rear end I'm very tempted to replace the standard air shock with a dhx2 as you did. Are you satisfied with this variation? Does dhx2 works flawless with the 630 wh battery? Did you use some spacer/tool to install dhx2 as you did? Thanks a lot! ?

Yes, I had three rides with the 504 Wh battery after the mod, and it works fine: no movement, no rattle at all!

I did the physical mod for my 2019 Canyon Spectral:On and I can confirm it's just plug in and go;)

I can say that after a static test the 504 Wh battery stays absolutely firm in the modified holder, just like the 630 Wh one. In addition, yesterday I tested it with the 630 Wh battery and the old holder modified with my first ride with them. The ride was a good test, with long very bumpy...
