Oh one thing: the battery can only be charged while taken out. Huge plus for it being removable, especially in this weight category. But not being able to charge on the frame at all is annoying
Alright! I ride mainly enduro and trails, coming from a focus sam2 (~ 27kg bosch cx bike with lots of travel) and an orbea rallon as my non-e alternative.
I bought the ryvon lt 4.0 and made some upgrades, mainly transmission gx, shimano breaks and a 38 factory fork (was stupid cheap on sale...
Nah doubt it. This picture was on my feed and that is definitely not the sx. Also, my local bike shop meantioned in confidence they are only getting one sx bike this year which turned out to be the mondraker. And they sell like a ton of orbeas, so I kinda think theyd habe known..
Hey guy,
currently looking to get a light emtb/ enduro. Big fan of the bosch sx and also of removable batteries. In the enduro category that really only leaves a couple bikes. Had my eye on the conway ryvon for a while, basically checks all boxes and looks amazing imo.
I just cant decide on...
Oooh I see, thanks for the explanation. Was looking at the heckler sl, but honestly … 3kg difference doesnt really seem to be worth the hype + non removable battery. So will probably test this one
Bosch sx feels incredible. Got punch when you need it and otherwise feels very natural. I love my full fat, but for me its a little too speedy and disconnected from the natural bike feeling at times. Tq was a little too weak for my taste and I just cant get used to shimano. If you enoy the bosch...
Tested the new bosch sx on a M1.en.400.sx (i think thats the correct title lol). Amazing ride feel, probably gonna switch out my sam2 6.9 and maybe even ditch my rallon as well.
Other notable bikes would be the conway ryvon lt (also enduro). There are like 4 more bikes presented which are all...
So from what Im seeing: new sram eagle, around 150/160mm and by the looks of the bottom bracket and the parts to be assemblef non removable battery with fazua ride 60?
Am in Germany, ordered mine directly from focus online as there was one available. Got it last week and loving it. Previously my local shop said ~march ish, so Im pretty fucking stoked.
Dont know what country you are in, but focus might offer the click and collect ordering too? Keep checking...
Got my sam2 1.5 weeks ago, suddenly there were a few available in L on the focus site, so I ordered it there and got it shipped to my local dealer. New 27.5 backtire for mullet coming in later this week.
Hang in there, it is so fucking worth it! Amazing bike..
Also, can confirm, Large comes...
Just got my sam2 today and rode it ~ 10k back from the dealership anf straight into the slippery-as-fuck forest. As beautiful as fall is, wet leafs are the worst thing to ride on. Not a problem for the sam though.
Grip is insane. The bike seems incredibly „light“ while in motion. Gotta set up...
