Can’t fault their warranty, every time the bike has been back in my hands within days. It’s not a frequent occurrence, It’ll be 4 years this September since I bought the bike. I’m glad you can buy replacement belts and bearings etc now.
Has anyone complained about the crap performance of motors after warranty replacement? Mine is a slug uphills now, I can jump on my partners levo and easily run the same uphill Strava segment a minute faster on hers. Also noticeable power difference compared to friends rides, they’ve turned it...
Hi, I believe the frames changed at some point during the manufacturing process for that year. If the adjustable cup fits yours, then you likely have an early 22 frame.
I’ve been hunting around for an after market one that’ll work on the the newer head tubes but no luck yet.
Regards
The setup is a 230x65, 2022 Levo Alloy. I needed to sand an area approximately 10mm in length, 2-3mm in width, and less than 2mm in depth. This modification appears to have resolved the issue.
Additionally, the chain stay is in the low position.
Thank you for your replies. I'll capture some...
Hello all, I recently installed a Cascade Link long travel and Fox Float X2 on my bike. After deflating the canister to inspect clearances, I observed that the canister's top comes into contact with the top tube's underside. Has anyone managed to successfully set up this combo? Appreciate any...
Hi, I ended up with a Giant Fatham. We've had that for a little while now and have it for sale. We're going to replace it with a Specialized SL size XS. Might be a little too big him, but at least we'll get a few years out of it. Otherwise not many options locally, there is a mondraker F-Play...
Hello everyone. Has anyone found the rear-end feeling like it hooks up on medium to high speed small bumps after converting to a 29er? It's a sensation that's like the high-speed compression is dialled right up, and that first quick hit is really stiff and then settles after the first bump once...
Hi all, has anyone successfully retrofitted a different brand motor to the specialized? Warranty is great, but having a motor blow during 3 events (onto my 5th now) is extremely frustrating.
Thanks in advance!
Hi Rob, I’m running 170mm. It’s more agile on ascents with tight switch backs now the forks aren’t hitting the frame. They really shine in tight technical trails, but no noticeable difference on smooth flowing trails. Small bump sensitivity has improved making the tracks I mainly ride feel...

That would have no doubt added to the overall poor handling. Reducing the offset brings the axle back towards the BB, so it raises the front more than the slacker 52mm offset position. I’m running fewer bar spacers to raise the bars now to compensate. I could reduce them to 190 and make it turn...
It moves the front wheel further away from the head tube making it slacker, so I need to bring my weight further forward then I normally would, otherwise the weight distribution has more of a rearward bias. Think of it like a trike with long forks or a chopper.
Hi,
Anyone already running a Fox 40 or considering it should have a look at the MORC 40's from Mojo Rising. The boxxers on the Kenevo Expert have a 44mm offset, whereas the Fox 40's are 52mm.
After fitting the Fox 40's my bike was okay on corners in technical tight decent's, but on flowing...
