Yeah, you definitely should setup your rear coil for 30% sag. I used the tfttuned spring calculator. It recommended 450 lbs spring. But it was at 25% sag. I test rode it and it was way too stiff that I was getting harsh pedal kickback through my feet when going through chunky terrain. So I...
I had the same issue with my Crestline, where the AXS transmission would intermittently skip gears. What I did to resolve this issue was I went through the setup procedure as shown in the video below. Start at 7:50 of the video...
Nice! I actually already have this Mucky Nutz mudguard laying around from my previous bike. I did try it before but didn't use it because it's a very tight fit on the chainstay. But I'll give it another shot. Thanks.
That's interesting because I received my RS180 this week. And I noticed that my head tube doesn't have a cracked paint like yours, but I see some waviness on it like when they put layers of carbon, they didn't sand it down and make it smooth and even. I'll keep my eye on it and make sure that...
Also, we were riding in Santa Cruz with a Specialized account rep and I tried to get the info out of him. I mentioned that the Levo was raced with the Sram/Brose motor in the 2022 EWS-E. He just smiled and didn't want to confirm it. But he did say that they are coming out with a new motor.
Frame will be similar to the new Levo SL with NO sidearm (thank goodness). And will use the new Sram/Brose motor with auto-shift. The Sram/Brose motor fits the Gen3 Levo because they actually used it in the 2022 EWS-E race (prototype testing). In the podcast interview with Transition, they...
I went with the Fox X2 (230x65) instead. That increased my shock travel from 180mm to 187mm. My Kenevo is the 2022 model and size S2. No issues with the X2 air can hitting the side arm at full compression. It just cleared it.
I think the bearing mount at the bottom of the shock is removable via hex screw. Does the stock Super Deluxe Select+ have the low/low tune? How do I confirm this info?
I'm looking to upgrade my 2022 Kenevo shock from the (230x62.5mm) Rockshox Super Deluxe Select+ (air) to the Ultimate. But below is the only version/tune that I found. It's specifically for the Nomad 2017+ bike. It'll obviously fit, but running it without a Kenevo specific tune be an issue...
Is this the reducer that you installed?
