I asked bearing man about this and the bearings in the motor that spin in this situation are not meant to be used much.....He said that those bearings would wear and to not consider this.....would be interesting if a motor company designed the motor to do something like this

Yes exactly...not sure what reservoirs will fit but the longer one I tried on the Bomber definitely interfered. Also frame sizes might come into play......mine was a small....and extra large might clear??
I used the Jade X Coil.....you could also use the new Topaz with the horizontal reservoir...
Yeah 147mm...no fit issues, but you need a shock with a smaller reservoir like the dvo to clear the Down tube at full compression

I set mine up with a 1.5 angle set. 170mm fork and a 55mm stroke coil.....it ripped! Moved to a Levo but the Trance setup like that was a really good ride. FYI I have the DVO coil for sale if interested
