30 km ride today, and 72 PSI in the forks and 200 PSI in the shock , and very comfortable. Using all but the last 12mm of travel.
I am now pretty happy with suspension settings. May need to put a little more air in, when I go to tracks with larger drops and jumps.
Went for a quick ride today, after removing one volume spacer from the fork, and air pressure at 70 PSI and its a good improvement, not getting beat up so much, and now using most of the travel. Will go for a a bit more challenging ride tomorrow, and see if I need to make any other changes. Rear...
I want to change out the 50 mm stem on my 2022 Turbo Levo expert, for a 35 mm Deity stem. In my manual it shows a top cap and bolt on top of the stem, but my bike has tool in the top cap, and no bolt. Is the top cap bolt underneath the fork yoke on this bike, and if so, how tight should it be ?
Weight is 90 kilos. Spesh recommendation after using their calculator, was 245 PSI for rear shock, and 103 PSI for forks. Tire pressure rear 24 - 28 PSI and front 22- 26 PSI. Rear X2 shock = rebound 3 clicks, compression 11 clicks. Front fork Low speed rebound 4 clicks, hi speed rebound = 3...
Went for a 24 km ride this afternoon after reducing air pressure in rear shock, and the fork, much better, but still not as plush as I expected, and still only used 2/3 of the fork travel used. Fox website says 4 tokens in 38 forks, will it allow the fork to achieve more travel and soften up the...
Just been for the first couple of rides on my new Expert with X2 & Fox 38 performance elite. Set up the pressures and settings according to the calculator on Specialized web site. Found the suspension extremely harsh, and didn't even use half of the travel in the fork, and only 2/3 of the travel...
Just bought STunlocker, and want to change assistance speed to 42 KM/hr, what circumference should the wheel be changed to to get assistance up to this speed please ?
Just got my bike back with new derailleur and Shimano warrantied it. Unfortunately am now getting WO11 errors ( Speed not detected ) several times per ride, and have to turn off battery and turn on again to get assistance back. I have a Badass box 4 on the rear to defeat the speed limit, and...
Issue still not sorted ! New battery did not resolve the issue. New battery carrier piece sent to Bike shop from Shimano, which has been fitted, but now bike shop says the bike has a DI 2 deralier fault, and is not sure if Shimano will warranty the deralier. Will cost $600 for deralier, if...
Contacted Shimano NZ and they said to take it to a bike shop to get it checked out. Bike shop said battery needs to be sent to Shimano, as its faulty. Should get a new battery under warranty, as its not 2 years old yet.
Last night my Merida E160 900E turned off the Shimano motor during my ride, and after numerous attempts it would not turn on again. I thought the battery had died, as it was very cold. When I put the 8010 battery on my charger it was indicating 3 bars left. I charged it fully, and turned it on...
Well due to this shitty little crash on 19th March I am out of action for awhile. Tore 3 out of 4 Rotator cuff tendons badly, in my left shoulder, and now facing surgery. Bugga !
