Spotted a tool kit in Aldi today (£24.99), pretty similar to the ones on Amazon that are about £40+. Obviously not up to Park Tool standard but the tools from Aldi are usually sufficient for an amateur like me! They also had some other bits and bobs in, I think someone was asking about panniers...
My ECO range after a full charge is now 77 miles and I’ve never seen it that high. I was carrying some precious cargo on my way home (beer) so I was taking it pretty easy but still had to double check that I’d not switched it from miles to kilometres by accident. Like Rob says it seems pretty...
That’s pretty much the conclusion I came to when I thought I didn’t have as much range as everyone else. It’s unnerving when it starts dropping and you’re pretty far from home, then you start heading home and the range slowly starts climbing again and you get home and there’s still 10 miles in...
I’m not sure the Bosch range extender will fit because of the rear shock, it’s hard to tell from the picture, would be a very tight squeeze and some extra weight. The bottle cage is also mounted quite high on the Stilus which might cause a problem for other brand range extenders.
edit: In fact...
Checked mine this morning after a full charge, my range usually starts off around these figures:
Eco: 51miles
Tour: 38miles
eMTB: 32miles
Turbo: 24miles
They’re only estimates as it goes off how hard you were pedalling at the end of your last ride.
I’d say yours does look a bit low for 12...
Not any more, I just went through the cyclescheme website, took about 2 hours from applying to getting the certificate. I think they lifted the limit fairly recently.
I got mine on Cycle to Work, guy in the shop said to pay for it on your card so that you’re guaranteed a bike and then when it arrives in store they will refund the cost of the bike to your card and then they will use the Cycle to Work code to buy the bike again.
I was dubious but it worked...
I think for me it’s the amount of confidence the good tyres fill you with on dodgy terrain, @TheBikePilot advised me to get some decent tyres when I first got my Stilus, I rode with the Smart Sam’s for about a week and you can feel that there is only a certain amount of grip when cornering or...
They’re about the same as far as I can tell, will have a proper measure up next time I’m out, really good combo though nonetheless and I couldn’t justify the extra money to go full mullet, I was hoping I could just stick a 29er on the front without changing the fork.
I could have sworn I rode...
Sorry for the slow reply mate, only just saw your message.
The website is:

I couldn’t for the life of me work out how to order them through that site so got them off Amazon in the end. They’re available on Tredz.co.uk too so...
Went fully tubeless this morning without any major problems, I put the tyres on with inner tubes the day before just to get them seated properly.
Took the inner tubes out this morning, installed the valves and injected Stan’s Tyre Sealant through the valves, reinflated to a high pressure and...
About a week in to owning a Stilus and just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone for all the very good advice on this forum, I couldn’t be happier with it.
I’m not sure who originally coined the phrase “The Demented Mountain Goat” but that’s exactly what it is, I’m yet to find an incline that...
Sorry should have said it’s a large and it’s click and collect.
I’ll consider selling it for offers over £20,000, that’s a bargain price for a rare specimen of this fine machine.
