What is the best Bosch CX Gen 4 firmware to avoid 504 errors on a chipped motor?
I have one bike with 1.1.0.0 and that got a 504 error. Another has 1.1.2.0 and no errors after 600km. Both have PearTune MSO 3.0 chips. Is it worth upgrading to the 1.1.5.0 firmware?
My current Focus Jam 2 has a 34T chainring. After 1800 km my rear sprocket needs to be replaced. This is because I tend to use the top few gears. I want to get a larger chainring so I use a wider range or rear gears. I was thinking a 38T. Would that be a bad idea? I don't know what mount...
How many KMs have you done after the firmware update? I've done close to 1000.
I can't see how heat, cadence, and power metrics be used to detect chipping. The software can't determine the gearing, incline or bike weight. For all it knows, the bike could be carrying a 150 km person up a 45...
My bike motor stopped working. There was no warning no error. It looked like the Bosch kiox was not connecting to the motor. The bike shop ran diagnostics and contacted Bosch. I'm told that the Bosch software used some sort of heat and cadence metrics to detect that it was chipped. If this...
Maybe, but its common practice that software shows 0% when the batter is depleted to its safe range. The same goes for 100%. There not much point of showing 5% if it can't be used.
I've had the 85Nm update on my Bosch Gen 4 2020 motor. I've installed a speed box 3.0 and its working fine but I've only done 10 km. I'll keep you posted.
